decent hotel close to JFK airport

We had 12 layover at JFK airport and we found this hotel to be convenient and reasonable price for this purpose. We oiled use this hotel again.

Very convenient for JFK layover

Pros: Close to JFK with included efficient transfer.
Cons: Better value. Someplace for second person to sit (not on bed). Room is too small for even a stool...
Location: Indistrial area by highway.
Very expensive, once all taxes, fees are included. Only one chair in the room.

Ok in an emergency

Ok in case of an emergency when you find yourself needing to spend the night at JFK. Nice bedding and convenient shuttle.

Good, hotel not too near, not too far from JFK

Pros: Near enough to JFK to reach in 15mins using the free hotel shuttle bus. Far enough away not to be troubled by aircraft noise. Excellent beds.
Cons: Use of cardboard cups and plates for breakfast was not very nice.
Location: Nothing to do in vicinity. Hotel simply provides a temporary rest place for jet-lagged visitors moving on to other destinations.
Comfortable hotel, especially the beds. Central heating made some whining noises in the night, but bearable with ear plugs. Windows well soundproofed and no aircraft sounds heard whatsoever.

Rooms fine, restaurant just basic.

We needed a room to spend the night between two flights. The hotel did not provide a shuttle service directly from the airline terminals but only from the AirTrain station. The shuttle from the hotel to the terminals was however available. Rooms were comfortable with all the necessary facilities. The restaurant was very basic and not what you expect from Marriot. Found the hotel expensive for what is being provided.

We completely sympathize with our guests traveling in the JFK Airport. It is unfortunate that Port Authority does not allow any Hotel Shuttle Bus to pick up guests at Terminals. We strive to get our Complimentary Shuttles to Federal Circle as soon as possible to retrieve guests. I do apologize that you disatisfied with the On-site Restaurant that whose purpose is to serve our guests. I do apologize that you felt our quality was not up to the price paid . Nice bed and breakfast hotel at a reasonable cost

Nothing to complain about, but i would have like to have French toast as an option for breakfast. There is a no smoking policy how ever some guest still take the liberty of smoking in theirs rooms.

Marriott Hotel - good base line quality.

Pros: That it's a Marriott
Cons: Reduce price - offer a slightly less plastic 2* breakfast
Location: $15 taxi ride to Airport
All went to plan... but price was frankly too high for a 3 star hotel

We needed to change name on booking as my daughter was arriving via UK before us - she has a different surname - whilst the change of booking reference was no problem with Expedia, from their end I had canceled my - big problem- room was very tired- breakfast was very average and plates & cutlery were throw away plastic really!! In this day & age we should have expected more
