If I could just get in!Posted Jun 21, 2015
Pros: Clean and the front desk staff.
Cons: Maintenance response, waited to long for him and then he was not prepare to fix the issue.
Location: Kinda in the middle of no where. One mile walking distance to a small shopping mall.
We had a very good stay overall. The location in kinda in the middle of no where. Across from the New York Police Academy and 1 mile walking distance to a small shopping mall. It is near the second China Town as some of the locals refer to the area. Food is very good if you-want to treat yourself to Asian Cuisine. I was there for a retirement ceremony at Ft Totten and on Saturday evening after the ceremony, we were going out to meet and have dinner with a group of friends. This is where the stay change for us a little. We had a ride bring us back to the Fairfield and wait while my wife and daughter changed. Our magnetic room keys would not open the door. Went down to the front desk and she re-keyed them, I went back up and still the keys did not work. Went back down to the front desk and she tried again; I went back up and again no success. This time the maintenance /engineer came up to the room and tried. He was not prepare to fix the the issue, it took him three trips to get what he needed. Needless to say, it took just short of an hour to get us in. This created stress for my wife, as being late for anything is not good and the driving distance was complicated by the Belmont Race, so traffic was horrible to say the least. Overall good stay, just wished the room key incident could have been handle better.

Pros: Clean, neat, and staff was excellent.
Cons: I'm not sure who was responsible but, when I made the reservation I was told I ha long term parking. I was not told it would be ON THE STREET!
Only stayed one night before early AM flight. The hotel was clean, bright and staff was excellent, answering any and all questions we had.

Nice hotel with nice breakfast and staff.Posted Apr 13, 2015
Cons: It wound be better if the shuttle bus to subway station is large enough to accommodate more guests.
It was very cold and windy when we were there, the shuttle bus is convenience and the staff are very thoughtful.

I recommend this hotelPosted Mar 28, 2015 on Hotels
The hotel staff was great, the comp. breakfast was substantial, the room was clean and comfy. There's a sort of mini convienence store in the lobby where one can by frozen dinners and microwave them in the room. We bought a bottle of wine, and the front desk supplied us with wine glasses and a corkscrew. Also was really helpful to have free shuttle service to the airport. We had a one night layover between flights, so the industrial neighborhood wasn't a problem.
