Brilliant location-perfect for an extended weekendPosted Nov 11, 2014
Pros: Location location location!
Cons: Slightly bigger rooms. More traditional American breakfast (waffles, pancakes, hash browns) instead of traditional English breakfast
Location: Everything is near by. Empire State, 5th Av, Link to Sight Seeing tours, Macy's, Madison Square Garden (15 min walk), Central Park (30 min walk)
Overall very pleased with hotel and location. Perfect for what we required and couldn't have asked for much more. Room slightly smaller than we would've wished but it was ok for what we needed it for. A long weekend is fine, any longer and you may wish to go somewhere with additional comfort / space.

Great but rooms too smallPosted Oct 25, 2014
Pros: Convenience, staff, cookies and coffee.
Cons: Closets too small. Need space for suitcase. I felt as if i was in europe!
I would have rated it excellent but for the fact that there was not enough closet space, or space to lay your suit case. Staff was very professional and courteous, breakfast was so so, but love having coffee in the room and 24 hour availability. Afternoon cookies were a huge hit!

Небольшой номер. Наверно, для Нью-Йорка это нормально...

Walking distance to Times Square.Posted Sep 23, 2014
Pros: Cleanliness and continental breakfast was very handy before starting our busy day.
Cons: Nothing. We were happy with everything.
Location: Great central location to Times Square, Empire State building, souvenir shops and restaurants.
Our first time in New York so we took a chance on a hotel close to Empire state building. Very pleasantly surprised at friendliness of Hotel staff, especially Daniel. He was super in directing us to points of interest and restaurants. Only stayed one night as we were taking a cruise next day. Would certainly stay here again.

Great location, rooms a little smallPosted Sep 10, 2014
Rooms a little small, nowhere to put our suitcases except on the floor or chair. A minor inconvenience though, strongly recommend this hotel to everyone.

Extraordinary staffPosted Aug 21, 2014 on Hotels.com
In addition to very comfortable, clean rooms, the multilingual staff members are friendly, caring, and unfailingly helpful. We would stay there again and will recommend the NYC Fairfield to friends.

Daniel at the front desk was amazing. He made sure all guests were satisfied and knew a lot about the city which helped us since we had never been there before. It's location is great, close to everything you need: shopping, Empire State Building, grand central station and many others if you're willing to walk a little bit.

Excellent value, location and servicePosted Aug 13, 2014 on Hotels.com
A great mid-town location at a good-value rate. All the staff were very polite and helpful. The room was comfortable with an excellent bed and was spotlessly clean. Coffee maker in the room and also self service tea and coffee available 24hr in the lobby. Some street noise audible at night, but you are in Manhattan!
