“Best NYC”
Good location not very comfortable
“Great Overall Experience”
Large room. Very Comfortable. Bathroom is small.
“Little Hotel that Could”
Intimate in every way. If you're looking for lush, 5 star everything from head to toe, then go book a night at The Plaza and pay a thousand for a small room. The Fitzpatrick is a 4 star everything for a third of that price. Book the suites for less than half what you'd pay elsewhere and you'll have a nice 1BR for 2 adults/2 kids. The walls are extremely thick for privacy and although the city noise is unavoidable, the location's setting isn't 24/7 so its quiet after 9pm. The staff was top of the class although you'll recognize some bruteness natural to the Irish lol. Bellhops were more accommodating than most and deserves that extra tip. Basically, you'll get 4 star everything for 3 star prices. Shopping is all about Bloomingdale's. If you want bargains, go down to Soho/Greenwich and avoid the stores that plaster posters in their windows about 70 percent off everything or store closing sale. Don't dress like a tourist when shopping cuz they'll eat you alive. 5 star dining is mostly West of Madison Avenue but there are literally hundreds of awesome eateries and bar scenes nestled in the side streets East of Third Ave. Don't room service. No one visiting NYC and in their right mind would do that anyway.
“First Choice in this area”
Very nice hotel. Free upgrade to a suite was a big plus. Fitz Food was enjoyable.
“I would stay here again!”
This Hotel definitely grew on me. At first it was hard to spot as there was scaffolding in the front. The size of the room was great for the money and the bathroom was well equipted(too bad the magnifying mirror was not lighted). I am very picky about baths and bedroom areas and this was really comfortable. The only complaint is that the the rug was a bit worn as well as the couch, so if this had been updated it would have been perfect. The location is in the heart of shopping but Lexington can lead you north to Central park as well as south it is very easy to get any where.
“Great little secret”
We love this hotel. The rooms are well-appointed, the location is unbeatable, and the staff is wonderful. In the midst of a driving snow and windstorm Saturday evening, a bell boy spent 15-20 minutes on the street in his thin uniform trying to hail a cab for us. And the Irish flavor adds an extra special something.
“A hidden Boutique Hotel in the Plaza District”
This hotel always surprises me. The bar/restaurant is excellent and the bartender is always accomodating. The hotel staff is friendly and always available. Can't wait to stay there again.
“Good location, but room a little small”
It's an old hotel. That's its charm and also its drag depending on your taste. The room I got is a little small. No view to talk about. But the location is great, next to the Boston Common and walking distance to most of the attractions.
“Very nice hotel, great location!”
Excellent rooms, kind staff, great location for shopping...walking distance from Central Park...will definitely return to this hotel.
“Top Notch Service!”
Very nice hotel with lots of charm and space for a family of 4. Service there was exceptional. We can't wait to go back.
