good hotelPosted Apr 16, 2014
Great hotel to stay at. It was pleasant weather in NYC but due to the NYC "hotel law" they weren't allowed to turn the air conditioning on until May 1, so it was 75 degrees in my room. Otherwise, very pleasant stay.

Good locationPosted Apr 7, 2014
Pros: Location and the band that played early one day that's it.
Cons: Every thing needs improvement.
Location: Near to all I needed to go My sister's condo, Time Square to So Ho just a walk for me.
The front desk staff was OK the room was small cold and worn out, the windows were leaking cold air in to the room and street noise and I mean street noise both nights I stayed it was loud till 4:00 am. The Maid showed up to clean my room at 4:30 pm when I was getting dressed asked if she could come back and never did.

Nice modern hotelPosted Apr 7, 2014
Staff was polite. Room was clean, modern, and comfortable with lots of digital controls. There is a bar in the lobby that plays live music on the weekend. I thought it would a problem, as I was on the 4th floor, but I could barely hear the music in my room. My only warning for weekend stays.

Modern stylish hotel, great locationPosted Apr 4, 2014
Pros: The location was convenient for us.
Cons: Scaffolding outside the building understandably detracts from the view.
This is a nice place to stay, with lots of extras including a fabulous salt-water aquarium in the hotel lobby. The room was very comfortable.
well located hotelPosted Apr 1, 2014
Pros: Staff was pleasant
Cons: A/C needs to be calibrated. Blows a lot of hot air for short period then wait up to when the room is really cold
Location: great location
Noisy place due to bands operating almost every night in the lobby/bar and sometime on the 11th floor.

Convenient hotel, very well-appointed guest room!Posted Apr 1, 2014
Cons: The scaffolding around the hotel was off-putting
It was just a single nite, but very convenient near Madison Square Park - a very easy walk to Penn Station, to Chelsea and the HighLine, not too far from the buzzy Ace Hotel Lobby. I would stay again!

Close to the Flat Iron BuildingPosted Mar 31, 2014
From the minute we walked through the door of the Flat Iron Hotel, the staff members were so accommodating and helpful. The bell hop took us up to our room and explained all the amenities. The front desk employees greeted us pleasantly every time we entered the lobby, helped us find our subway routes and printed them, suggested destinations, printed off lists of galleries, loaned us an umbrella for the rain and hailed cabs. The room was comfortable and had special features like a TV in the mirror in the bath and 8 shower nozzles!

Good position for exploring New YorkPosted Mar 19, 2014
Pros: Location, friendly staff, free wi-fi, excellent room, bathroom and shower.
Cons: As previously stated, the public areas will soon need upgrading.
Location: Great location, good selection of bars and restaurants within walking distance.
I was in New York to celebrate my 50th birthday. Nice we'll appointed clean room with an excellent bathroom and shower. Staff were very friendly and helpful, great position for exploring the City, 28th Street Subway Station 2 minutes walk. My only comment would be the public areas and guest seating within the public areas are looking a little tired and will soon need upgrading to keep the required standard.

Great Hotel, Friendly StaffPosted Mar 10, 2014
Pros: Great location, friendly and helpful staff, nice rooms
Cons: They need to install full length mirrors outside the bathroom.
Location: Close to SoHo, Meatpacking, Chelsea, West Village.
This hotel was great. I would definitely recommend it. We were greeted by a super friendly staff and got into our room a bit early which was nice after a redeye. The room was good sized, comfortable beds, nice clean and modern. The only issue we had with our room was a lack of mirrors. There was only the bathroom mirror, which had a built-in TV making it hard to see into. There were no full length mirrors or mirrors outside the bathroom, making it difficult for two girls to get ready.
