“Better Bets in Midtown”
Accommodations/rooms aren't very nice, and staff wasn't particularly helpful. They have a late check in time (4 p.m.) and couldn't accommodate earlier check in (even 2:30 p.m.). And the early a.m. shower was entirely cold. I will avoid this hotel in the future.
“Love this Hotel!”
My husband and I went to celebrate our friend’s 30th bday and really enjoyed this Hotel. I use to live in NYC and I could not believe how roomy this place was. NYC hotels are NOT known for being big! This was a great surprise! In NYC you should not spend time in your room...but if you do...you will be comfortable. We shared the room with another couple and had the suite. We had the pull out bed...and just put the mattress on the floor and it was really comfortable. The other couple had the bedroom and the bed was awesome! It had two bathrooms and a huge living area. Another awesome thing to note is its location!! Its just a few blocks from Times Square and the theater district! I would definitely stay here again!!
“desperate need for some improvements”
the price of this hotel stay was attractive yet there were improvents very needed the location of the hotel was superb the lobby seemed to be renovated recently but the hall way was very gloom yet the room was satisfactory the hotel service was very poor as an example of it an ashtray took 2 calls and 40 minutes to arrive I would recomend this hotel if either you just need a place to sleep
“convenient!”
perfect spot for my day trip to NYC, and super convenient to my work assignment.
“Will not come back to this hotel again”
* Good Location * Unfriendly front desk and lobby receptionists. Maybe a very dark lobby don't need some smiling faces. * Room is clean and comfort. But not 4 star level. * Forget the complimentary breakfast. This is the biggest joke in a 4 star hotel. * My hard lesson without using brank name hotel.
“Great Location”
Great location is without a doubt the best feature of this hotel. The rooms are unexpectedly spacious, beds are nice and shower/bathroom OK. Certain things do look a little run down, it look like the hotel should enter some renovation sometime soon. But nothing too bad. Elevators were fine (I had read some other comments about them being slow, didn't´see that at all). The continental breakfast is very basic, just bagels, fruits and orange juice and coffee. Would suggest adding cereals and yoghurts. Overall, we had a great time in NY and being able to walk to Times Square, Rockefeller Center, etc is really great.
“consider with conditions”
Loved the central location, very convenient to everything, the concierge was excellent source of knowledge and very helpful in booking my required tickets. On the down side the hotel (or the room I was allocated at least) needs some work; the wardrobe doors were coming off the runners, lovely big bath that I was looking forward to soaking in till looked at the spa outlets and was then put off as falling apart and looked grose! the picture above the bed was falling out of the frame (an easy fix really) and the TV did not even have access to all the major channels for some reason. No room guide to hotel services, the business centre computers slow and suggest have breakfast elsewhere - the included continental was not great at all. A mixed bag and experience really
“i would deffintly stay at this hotel again”
price was good for ny,much bigger than expected, very nice
“Not a bad expedia pick”
We were able to book this hotel last minute on a saturday night due to a snowstorm blocking our drive up to Westchester on an expedia 'hotrate'. Given that we only paid 2/3 the normal rate, it was well worth the it for us, and I suppose if you want to be in the heart of the theater district than the location is great.
“Good hotel if you are one night in New York”
Is close to most of the tourist places but is expensive and the rooms are small.
