Flawless Hotel Experience

Posted Jun 22, 2015
What a BEAUTIFUL hotel! My sister and I stayed there for a night on our visit to Manhattan for a concert at the Best Buy Theater. The hotel was about a block or two away from our Megabus stop (which was on West 25th I believe). The double room was quite small but it was absolutely beautiful. The room looked exactly like it does in the picture, service was impeccable, and I walked to the hotel from Times Square in about 20 minutes or so? Awesome experience. My sister wants me to add that the in-room coffee was good.

Pros: Location, price, beds
Cons: terrible towels, small like a napkin and hard like sand paper
Location: Chelsea is much better to stay than downtown or Times Square, if you arrive to the hotel driving it gets easier to acces via the West (9A)
Good for the price , excellent location, very kind staff. Ask for the parking coupon and you'll get a 50% discount parking not to far from there. I spent a lot of money on lodging in NYC before and never got this good service, more than expected.

Great place to stay

Posted May 28, 2015
Pros: Location. Near transport.
Location: On 25th, you are 10 mins walking distance from the biggest Macys in the world on 34th, Time Square is from 37th and Broadway shows are along 42nd Stre
Hotel staff are very welcoming and helpful. The room was clean, big and inviting. Although the view from the window was a brick wall, I was only really there to sleep, shower and keep my bags. The bed was comfortable.

Bring ear plugs in warm weather

Posted May 27, 2015
Pros: Great staff and location.
Cons: Notify people when checking in about the loud bar facing the backside so a location of room can be discussed.
Location: The new Whitney Museum, the High Line, Empire State Bldg, Union Square and the markets.
I prefer to stay in Chelsea when in NYC. The hotel is well-located and convenient to everything I wanted to do. However, when I returned in the evening, I was surprised at the noise, sounding like a boisterous party. I looked out the window of my room which faced the backside and saw a crowded patio. FB indicated that one of NYC's most popular gay bars with a large outdoor smoking patio was below my window. The noise quieted down by midnight. I bought earplugs for the rest of my stay.

Excellent Location

Posted May 18, 2015
Pros: Location is the thing I liked best. They have a small cafe/restaurant onsite. The food is not bad and is a good place to eat if you want to eat in.
Cons: The walk-up computer area. The only chair available was horrible. My son had an issue with the attitude of one staff person. All others were great
Location: Near Whole Foods store, right off of 7th ave, walking distance to Penn Station, Time Square, & lots of shopping. Multitude of places to eat.
I stay at this hotel every time I visit my son in NYC. He lives in Chelsea and this hotel is nearby. It is, however, becoming more and more expensive.

Too noisy

The hotel itself was great, but it was too noisy in the night. They should put double crystals on the windows

Roomy comfort

Posted May 15, 2015
Cons: The black out shades didn't really work well. There was still a lot of light in the room at night, and it's a bit noisy. But it's New York!
Location: I went on a nice walk on the High Line park and then shopped at Chelsea Market. Both were worthwhile.
The rooms are spacious by New York City standards, and the beds are very comfortable. It's centrally located in Chelsea with great restaurants just steps from the hotel. There a little mom and pop latin cafe right downstairs and while it's cash only, the food was tasty and plentiful.
