“Good Value---excellent Location.”

The hotel is newer so the beds/linens etc are in great condition and very comfortable--rooms are compact but workable. Staff were very helpful and polite. Room service was prompt and tasty. The only true drawback was no bathtub. I will stay here again.

“Nice and Clean”

Room was very clean beyond my expectation. Bed was very comfortable. Slept like a baby. Bathroom was small and vanity faucet only produced cold water but clean. Shower was hot and nice. Lobby wasn't much to look at. Lounge that pictures show here was actually next door and didn't open on Sunday. Was very disappointed. Location was very conveinent. Don't ask the hotel personnel regarding broadway tickets. They suggest buying from them but for my tickets it was $40 over priced. Also, they gave us wrong address for 'Ticket' stand. I asked multiple times for confirmation on the address and they kept on saying 35th street but it was actually in 45th street.

“Impressed”

Room was very spacious, especially by Manhattan standards. Room was clean, staff was freindly. Close to Times Square, but not too close. Lots of restaurants if you walk north up 9th Ave. We arrived 2 hours before our room was ready, but they held our baggage for us so we could wander around the city while we waited. Subway station right at the corner with access to most lines. I would stay there again.

“solid place, would stay again”

The hotel was very clean, convenient, and most of the staff extremely friendly. The room was fantastic and the bed was very comfortable. My husband loved the large shower. We walked everywhere we needed to get to because of the fantastic location. The view wasn't bad. Loved the complimentary beverages in the morning, and the restaraunt was small but comfy. We only ate breakfast there but it was very good, reasonably priced, and was well portioned. Didn't l;ike having to go down to the lower level for ice and soda. There was one bottle of complimentary water inthe room. No store or place to buy amenities, but we didn't need any so I don't know if the hotel offerred anything. We got there early on our checkin day and checked our bags, which included an open shopping bag with a gift we had just purchased. When we checked out we needed to also check our bags as we had a full day of activities before leaving - the clerk would not check the open bag!! so we had to lug the bag around all day. We were not happy. Next to the hotel are 2 more hotels to the west and to the east a parking area, a liquor store, a chinese food place, and 2 'adult' stores. I was not very comfortable walking down that street as there was often people loitering. We usually crossed the street then walked down. the Port Authority if directly across the street - very convenient if that is how you are getting in and out of the city. We walked from grand central. We would stay there again.

“Great staff, Good experience”

Wonderful staff. I was granted early check in and late check out. Hotel was clean, modern and the bed was comfy. My 8-yr old was a little shocked at the tight quarters but I thought it was a good size. Bathroom was a little tight but overall bigger than some Boston hotels. Only complaints are that the "city view" was of a construction site and partial hotel exterior wall and that it was billed as a Times Square area hotel. Not sure what their definition of "area" is but we were a few blocks away. Otherwise, a really good experience.

“Decent, clear”

A decent hotel, clean room and staff were friendly. Being next to Port Authority, it's a bit of NY's dirtiest when you walk out the door... but you can get to the subway, taxis, theaters very easily

“Loud air conditioner”

Hotel was very nice. Being a first time visitor to New York I found the room to be small, but I understand that is the norm. Room was clean but there was a musty odour that would not go away and the air conditioner was extremely loud. The location was great, a close walk to shows, times square, and restaurants. The staff were all very pleasant, professional, and helpful.

“Convenient Location”

The hotel is centrally located to many things - Times Square, subway, neighborhood restaurants, laundromat, pier. The drawback is its location across from the Port Authority bus station. The first night our room was located on the 10th floor and had a difficult time sleeping due to the traffic and noisy room a/c. After requesting a higher room, they put us on the 23rd floor, which was much quieter. We enjoyed the rest of our stay. The room is a bit tight for a family of four, and the beds were a little too soft for my taste. However, I would stay here again if I came back to NYC.
