Worst Weekend EverPosted Feb 3, 2015
Cons: New Management, New Window,New Breakfast Menu, New Cleaning Service, New Security Company, New Television, New Air Conditioner and Heating System,Etc.
I had a horrible time at this hotel.I think this hotel is Sheltering the homeless, Strange characters are hanging around the lobby and hallways so safety is a issue. Bags of Garbage is places on the floor by the elevators.I had to change my Room three times In one weekend due to 1.Room was freezing (bed next to drafty windows) 2.When coming in on Friday evening shady character hanging out in hallway by my room 3.Sunday morning yeah, checkout time what can go wrong? NO HOT WATER. Need I say more?

DisappointingPosted Feb 1, 2015
Cons: Staff training, cleaning, refurbishment
Location: Near Kennedy Airport
Staff were unfriendly bordering on rude. half the lights in the room didn't work. Breakfast was very poor. Walls very thin and can hear everything happening next door and the hallway.

Perfect hotel for stop over.Posted Jan 21, 2015
This hotel was fantastic for a stop over. The beds were very large and extremely comfortable which is exactly what you want after long flight. The staff were very helpful. Overall very good!

Nice hotel, close to JFKPosted Jan 15, 2015
Pros: Proximity and clean rooms
Cons: Would recommend they have vending machines available as the closest shop is across the park from the hotel.
Good hotel with modern finishings. Close to the airport. Nice views over the adjacent park

Garden Inn & Suite needs a good scrub! the rooms are ok for one night before you have to fly out of JFK very early but i will not stay any longer than required. The hotel need some serious cleaning!

Save your money, time, and aggravation.Posted Jan 9, 2015
Cons: Change management...perform maintenance...perform housekeeping
Nothing about this motel was positive. The shuttle bus took over 40 minutes to arrive and the driver had the passengers sit and wait while he had a cigarette outside. We had reserved two rooms months prior...a king room and a room with two twin beds. What we got was a queen room that had a shower that barely trickled water and they were sold out of the twin room we had reserved. The room they gave in place of the twin room had not been cleaned from the previous occupants. The replacement for that room would not get above 60 degrees. By the time all of issues were worked out, it was 3:30 AM and we had to be up at 5:30 AM to catch the shuttle back to the airport. The shuttle back to the airport was full beyond capacity.

Our place to stay near JFKPosted Jan 5, 2015
After four stays, we still know we'll be back. Great quiet location, super staff, great bed, and everything else needed after a long flight back from Europe. Thank you.
