“Homely & welcoming.”

The hotel is friendly and everyone works as part of the bigger team including the drivers. I can't honestly say anyone about anyone . The staff are simply welcoming and me our stay a rather stay to be a rather very speical one.

“Best choice for a JFK overnight”

I often travel through JFK and need a good hotel to overnight before going back to the airport to continue my journey. I have tried so many of these JFK hotels in Jamaica and finally I have found a decent one in my price range. I have stayed in La Qunita, Best Western, Comfort Inn and Five Towns Inn before this and Hampton Inn is by far the best. The shuttle is 24 hour and at peak times (4-10 am) it runs every half hour (to the airport). As with most other hotels you have to go to Federal Circle and call for the courtesy bus on arrival but in our case the bus was already waiting for us. Bed was super comfortable and the front desk staff both efficient and pleasant. The hotel connects to the hotel next door (the International I think) and has a great bar and restaurant - so no need to walk around outside in this dodgy area. Will definitely choose this hotel again on my next trip. Left too early for breakfast and the takeaway breakfast bags didn't materialise but otherwise no problems. The hotel is quite old but clean and well maintained.

Clean and comfortable. We were pleased with the choice of breakfast. The reception staff were very friendly.

“One night before departure from NY.”

I stayed in the hotel just for one night with two other friends at the end of our trip in US. It is little bit difficult to get there as there is no metro near by. We took a mini cab from Jamaica station which was booked by agent at the station. They give us a quote right there so we knew how much we will pay. There is a lot of odd-looking taxi out there so be safe and ask metro staff for help if you completely lost. Taxi cost us 14.50 dollars and it took around 10 min. Hotel is in quiet residential location with other branded hotels near by. Hotel offers free shuttle bus to and from the airport so no worries about that. There is also bus running (Q40) from street next to the hotel to Jamaica station which is bargain (40 cents one ride per person). It takes 20 min. but it is cheap. Room was clean, spacious with comfy beds. We requested late check out which was not a problem. Breakfast were very busy with a very simply buffet. All in all we were very happy with everything and I would recommend this hotel to all of you who does not want to travel to Manhattan as it takes ages to get there :-))

“Very Near the Airport”

When I got off the plane I had no idea where to go. I was able to call the hotel and they said to go to the train and drop off at one of the main hubs. I don't remember the exact name, but all of the hotels had a phone there and all I did was call and say I was ready for pick up. The bus came within 15 minutes. Driver was kind and helpful. The hotel was 5 minutes or less away and the staff were great. I left early in the morning so I can't remark on the free breakfast. I will always use the Hampton Inns when I can. I know they are clean and I get my monies worth. Thank you,

“Accomodating for families”

As a family of 5, we have fewer choices for hotels, but found that the Hampton Inn chains accept 2 adults and 3 children and also serve very good hot and cold breakfasts. This Inn did not have a pool, which is our only other standard preference, but the hotel was comfortable, accomodating and convenient to long-term parking and the airport and that was what we most needed at the time. We'd use it again.
