“Comfortable for short stay”

I did have some minor issues that were not the direct result of the hoteland the staff's unprofessionalism , yet they did their part to try to make me as comfortable and pleased as possible.

“JFK Hampton Inn great experience”

The personnel were all outstandingly nice and helpful from checking in, advice and even a change bus to subway cheaper ticket for going to downtown NYC including how to go where I wanted, the costs and things to watch out for. While the hotel didn't have a restaurant, the adjacent 2 hotels did and there is an indoor connecting hall to one for safety and weather protection. They have a luggage room for use free. The morning breakfast provided a variety of foods for a wide spectrum of diets. The personnel also did things competently and as quickly as possible. The room appeared clean, was comfortable, and had valuable accommodations. It was quieter than many places I've stayed. I was surprised and pleased with the value for my money and the ease and comfort of my 1 day stay in transit from overseas thru JFK airport.

Recommend this hotel to everyone who has a transfer flight @ JFK airport. Nice clean hotel.

“Very convenience location”

Excelent when you come back at home, because in the morning you return de car at 2 minuts from the hotel.

“Bad Hotel - Unfriendly staff - No restaurant - shuttle bus driver horrible”

The hotel staff is terrrible. Do not stay here. The shuttle bus driver would not help us and left my Mother out in the cold rather than let her sit in the bus until departure. Hotel has no restaurant making it a problem for dinner. No restaurants across street and this is not a safe meighborhood to walk around in. Much better to pay a few extra dollars and stay at Hilton or Marriott nearby.

“Great place for our overnight stay”

My wife and I had an issue with our airline which caused us to stay the night. I booked the hotel through Expedia and was able to check in to the hotel with no issues. Due to the issue with our flight, we didn't have out luggage. The representative at the front desk was extremely helpful and cheerful. She provided us with all the toiletries that we needed, and then some! The room was very clean, the bed was comfortable and very convenient to JFK, minutes to the airport. We would definitely recommend and stay at this hotel again.

“Very Convenient especially free shuttle service”

My daughter and I stayed at the Hampton Inn twice--a day before leaving for China and the day we returned. We were able to rest and were very comfortable. I like the idea that we could have food delivered to the Hotel for us as we were aching for a hamburger after all that Chinese food!

“EXCELLENT VALUE!”

We stayed at the Hampton Inn JFK overnight before our trip to Ireland. We were very pleased with the shuttle service to and from the airport (Bill, our driver was exceptional!), the cleanliness of the hotel and the wonderful breakfast and all day coffee, tea, hot chocolate which really came in handy after touring in the cold weather! We are in Ireland this week staying in all 5 star resorts (Four Seasons and comparable!) and honestly, we felt more comfortable at the Hampton Inn! We are staying there on the way home. I would definitely recommend it for convenience and value!

“I will return”

The staff were professional, friendly and helpful. Stacy the evening front desk clerk was very helful and pleasant. The after hours maintenance personnel who worked 10/15/2011 was very abrupt and his customer service qualities left a lot to be desired. His counterpart on 10/14/2011 was excellent. His behavior indicated that he was a part of the hotel and was there to help us make our stay better.
