“Excellent Stay!”
Very close to Penn Station and Madison Square Garden (2 blocks). Very close to shopping with a dollar store across the street and several small eateries, deli's on the same street. As with most hotels in the city, you are looking at big bucks for bigger beds and rooms, so that being said, the accommodations worked for our family of 2 adults and 2 children (9 & 12). Also very close to the subway and many of the typical attractions that a tourist would want to see. Also seemed reasonably safe as we were out until late in the city and on foot most of the time. The soup, cookies, and hot cocoa were great during the week! The breakfast was excellent. The Staff was very courteous. Only problem we had was having to repeatedly ask for extra towels and washcloths -3 was the standard, but there were 4 of us in our room and we had left a nice note the first day to this effect. We were always able to get the extra, but had to ask. The decor was nice.
“Fantastic staff, central location”
Staff were very friendly and knowledgable (except the manager who was a bit rude), service was impeccable and breakfast was included. Location was very convenient and close to everything especially shopping so if you are a shopaholic like me you'd like this location.
“DEFINITELY STAY THERE IN MY NEXT VISIT TO THE CITY”
GREAT LOCATION, FREE HIGH SPEED INTERNET, THE STAFF WAS KIND AND HELPFUL ALL THE TIME. THE ROOM HAD A GOOD SIZE FOR A NY City HOTEL BUT I WOULD BE GREAT TO HAVE A LITTLE MORE ROOM FOR LUGGAGE. THE COMPLIMENTARY BREAKFAST WAS MARVELOUS AND THE JUST MADE COOKIES ON THE FRONT DESK WHERE A NICE TOUCH. WOULD DEFINITELY STAY THERE IN MY NEXT VISIT TO THE CITY.
“Excellent”
I travel for a living, and this hotel is as good as any other Hampton Inn across the country. The service was excellent, I say excellent only because I never really needed to speak with them. The location of the hotel is perfect if you are in NYC to be a tourist. It is close to the 34 st subway, the 28 st subway, and Penn station. You really can't ask for a better jump off point for visiting the major sights. The location is also surprisingly quite. I expected a little more hustle and bustle, but that was not the case. There is a Starbucks 1 block away for a quick cup, and a stump town coffee brewer cafe a few blocks away for an out of the ordinary cup. This next bit is for you mma fans, Renzo Gracie's flagship studio is 2 blocks away. Enjoy NYC.
“Excellent location”
First of all it has an excellent location, clean and very comfortable romms... The personel is very polite, the breakfast was good and it has free access to internet (this is very important to me) I recomend this hotel!!!
“Good hotel but.....”
restroom in the room did not work. We asked front desk and they worked immediately, but unfortunately it was broken again soon and we felt so inconvenience during stay in this hotel because always we needed to come down to 1st floor to use restroom.
“Excellent Location”
I checked in early and they had a room ready for me anyway. I stayed because of the location to MSG and couldn't have been happier about the location to the arena. It's off 7th Avenue and a bit quieter. It's walking distance to MSG (2 minutes if that), Times Square (brisk 15 minute walk), & Empire State Building. The hotel really is in a perfect location and if you want to hop on the subway, it's right there as well. The service was excellent, the staff was friendly and answered all my out of town questions. Couldn't have been happier with my choice & when I return to NYC, I'll stay again.
“You'll Love It”
Location, cleanliness, service are all outstanding. Extremely convienient to Penn Station, Madison Square Garden or any mid-town location. Complimentary breakfast starting at 6:30am is extensive and very satisfying. I was extremely pleased and I'm sure you will be too.
“Great little midtown hotel”
Friendly staff. Small but nice room with comfortable bed and great pillows. As I was traveling in and out of Penn Station and had business mid-town, location was perfect. Breakfast was good, with more choices and better quality than expected.
“Unforgettable”
The whole trip was really wonderful!!! Just do not buy from the first soveniour shop, can find it cheaper in Times Square. Even though we were not at the hotel much, it was wonderful when we were. They even had to go breakfast bags if you did not have time to sit down to eat, free bottled water, and the most helpful advice we could ask for. They were just awesome!!!
