Posted Jul 12, 2014
Pros: helpful staff, friendly staff, clean rooms

Location: location was within walking distance to a lot of attractions
the hotel was within walking distance to a lot of attractions and the subway was one block away which was a breeze to use

Good location for the money...

Posted Jul 9, 2014
Pros: Rooms where fair size, comfortable, clean and relative quite. Don't expect to have a great view of the city from your room window.
Cons: Although breakfast was included, depending on the hour, there was not much food available nor variety.
Location: Location is great. Subway station practically just around the corner, there are some restaurants in the same street, and Macy's is pretty close.
I visit NYC regularly and have stayed in This hotel is just steps from a subway station, is just a short walk from Penn Station and Macy's, and the breakfast was included. What else do you need for a short stay in NYC?

Fabulous Hotel in an excellent location

Posted Jun 30, 2014
Pros: Friendly staff, Breakfast included, free wifi and the location
Location: Great location, near to Macy's and Herald Square with a subway station on the corner. Walking distance to Times Square.
This hotel is a great find, close to Macy's and Herald Square shopping with a subway station on the corner of the street. The breakfast was also excellent with a great selection of hot and cold food. Coffee, tea and hot chocolate on tap all day and a reasonably priced vending machine in the basement. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Free wifi too which helped when we were planning our days activities over breakfast using our ipad. It also has a little area at the front where you can sit and enjoy your free coffee, there is a subway sandwich shop and a pizza place a on the same street and a couple of bars too. I loved it and would definitely stay here again,

great location for central nyc

Posted Jun 23, 2014
Pros: the location and having breakfast facilities
Location: hotel in street behind the Empire State Building and Macy,s across the road
hotel good except for being told that Expedia had not paid the hotel for 7 days and they expected us to leave after the 4th day. We received a bill from the hotel but when shown that it was all paid for through Expedia ,the manager Clayton assured us that everything would be fine. So we were a wee bit worried but everything turned out ok.

Pros: Free breakfast
Great central location for seeing NYC, both uptown and downtown with a subway stop just outside the door. Lots of restaurants close by and loved the free breakfast at the hotel. Definitely would recommend to a friend.

Comfort in the heart of Manhattan

Posted Jun 7, 2014
Pros: Friendly staff, comfortable rooms, ideal location
Cons: Nothing
Location: Right in the heart of Manhattan, 5 minutes walk from the Empire State Building. Herald Square, Macys and Times Square within 10 minutes walk.
A very welcoming reception area leading to the constant supply of free coffee was always great to see after a hard day sightseeing. The ample breakfast of fresh fruit, omelette, sausage, waffles etc was a great start to the day aswell. The lifts (always fast) got us quickly to our 14th floor room with a great view of the Empire State Building. A flick of the aircon switch also made the comfortable beds even more welcoming. Add to this a clean, functional bathroom and the usual tv / drink making facilities and it adds up to an excellent base for exploring the countless sights within walking distance and the nearby subway station. We hope to return as soon as possible.
