Nice area in ChelseaPosted Mar 1, 2015
Pros: The location, free Wi-Fi and price - very good value.
Location: Walked to Chelsea Piers (it was cold) for a brunch ship tour of the southwestern tip of Manhattan, and went to an off-Broadway play in Union Square.
We chose this hotel based on value. The price was the weighted heaviest since NYC hotel prices can be absurd. The hotel was a short 2 min walk to one subway and 6 min to another. In NYC with the weather being so cold, gotta ride the subway and minimize your walking. The area has a friendly neighborhood feel, unlike what you get from Times Square (been there done that). Hotel also has dining, a small bar and a pantry for snacks and toiletries. Friendly staff too!!!!!!

Nice hotel convenientPosted Feb 28, 2015
Pros: see above
Cons: The desk in the room is a little worn. No big deal.
Location: Great location to midtown. Easy walk to Penn Station and all the trains and subways. We went from JFK to the hotel in an hour.
Like this hotel better than the Doubletree we stayed in 1 block over. Mainly because the bathroom actually has a counter to put your things on. There is a microwave, fridge and coffee. Good coffee too. The room was bigger than the Doubletree as well. Nice garden atrium for breakfast, although we did not eat there. We will definitely stay there on the next visit. Nice staff too.

Second stay, great hotel!Posted Feb 27, 2015
Excellent little hotel in a great location! I went to NYC for a couple of hockey games. The hotel is a 5 minute walk from MSG - perfect location. Very close to several subway lines, including the PATH train that goes right to the Prudential Centre in Newark (Devils games). Great place to stay to explore the city.

Good Value.Posted Feb 24, 2015
Pros: Staff was excellent for assisting. Check in is firmly at 3 p.m. When we arrived the street was closed down. A discounted parking lot is down the st
Cons: Discount parking 1 1/2 blocks east on north side validates with the hotel. $66 for three days.
Enjoyed the expedia discount on a 2 queen bed room. It's small but doable and in pretty good shape. Staff was beyond helpful and with kids the breakfast was a good deal (kids ate free)

Nice hotel with excellent staff!Posted Feb 10, 2015
The staff at this hotel was great, extremely friendly and accommodating! Room was rather small and the view wasn't what we expected, but an overall good stay.
