Ease of Access

Posted Jul 29, 2014
Pros: Nice friendly staff. Decent sized rooms. Low number of rooms per floor makes for less noise in halls.
Cons: Better cookies with no nuts at time of sign in. :-) Cab availability on 28th St. is limited because of construction.
Location: Macy's, Manhattan Mall, Empire State Building, Bryant Park are all easy walks.
Like the location to LGA. Like the fact that there are subway lines in easy walking distance that give access to major highlights of the city.

Nice location, terrible room

Posted Jul 27, 2014
Pros: Location.
Location: Location was pretty good. Close to 1 subway and about a 10 minute walk to others.
This was our first time in NY, I have previously stayed at Hilton properties and have always had a very good experience. This was the case this time. The rooms are very small, pillows feel like cardboard, beds are very lumpy, there 4 of us staying in the room and yet they never gave us enough towels. Walls are very thin, you can hear slamming doors and housekeeping talking very loudly outside your door in the morning. I used the business center to print out our boarding passes and it smelled like wet musty carpets. I booked and paid for queen size beds however we received double beds. Overall very disappointed with the hotel, not worth the price I paid.

Nice hotel easy walking distance from Penn station

Hotel was clean and staff were very friendly and accommodating. Really appreciated that the held our bags both prior to check in and after we checked out. Felt very comfortable there with my kids. Queen beds, which can be hard to find in New York!

Great location downtown, close to everything.

Posted Jul 19, 2014
Pros: Very friendly staff and great location.
Cons: Rooms are a little small, but they are updated and clean. I was only there two nights, but on a longer stay the cabinets, closets would be too small.
Location: Near Park Ave and Madison Ave.
Very friendly staff! Was greeted quickly and everyone I encountered was very friendly. The hotel is clean and the location is great. I will be returning next time I need to be in the area.

great quiet place, just off the beaten path

Posted Jul 7, 2014
located in the heart of the fashion district but just out of the direct traffic of cars and people associated with the area the hotel is perfect for weekend getaways for New Yorkers as well as travelers. the staff were courteous, and about the job of making my stay as comfortable as possible...

We stayed on the 16th floor and it was a great experience. Really loved the quietness on the high floor. Check in and check out were a breeze. The gym is basic but great. Highly recommend this one.

Clean hotel with great staff

Posted Jun 17, 2014
We stayed for 4 nights. The location is perfect because you're one train away from everything. Staff was incredibly nice and helpful! Only concern was that our ac sometimes wouldn't work properly. A few nights we slept without any blankets because it would get a little too warm for comfort.. Oh and the cookies in the lobby are to die for!

Simply ideal hotel

Pros: reception being very helpful and cleanliness.
Cons: coffee area next to reception should be 24/7.
Location: times square - 20 min walk, empire state building -5 min walk, subway - 3 min walk, sightseeing bus stops - 5 min walk, macys - 5 min walk.
Lovely hotel, central location and extremely helpful staff. I did not use their facilities such as gym, restaurant, bar however I will definitely visit again.

Waiting for elevator may need patient, sometime is slow due to the sharing with room service crews.
