Good value hotel in a central location

We had a great view from the 24th floor. The only downside was the lifts are slow and used by the cleaners, so getting to ground can take a while. Otherwise, a good value hotel.

Affordable and nice hotel in Manhattan

Posted Apr 7, 2014
Cons: Parking was off-site and a bit confusing.
Location: It's New York City!
Nice room, pretty convenient mid-town (Chelsea) location. Helpful staff, especially with our need to store bags both before check-in and after check-out.

Friendly, comfortable Midtown hotel, near to Penn Station and subway. Room on 20th floor still some traffic noise. Good size room, very comfortable bed, big bathroom - towels small, fridge, microwave and coffee machine a bonus. Plenty of storage space. Staff excellent very welcolming and friendly. Great stay.

Lovely hotel close to the attraction in manhattan

Posted Mar 30, 2014
After reading up on hotels in NY & hearing how small re rooms are we were pleasantly surprised by the size of the room it was massive, it was also clean, had a fridge & was quite! Hotel staff were helpful & nice. The hotel location was fairly central on west 28th street only a few blocks from a lot of the tourist attractions including Times Square, Macy's, Empire State etc.

Happy in NYC

Posted Mar 30, 2014
Pros: Everything
Cons: Elevator was a little slow
Location: Subway & bus route very on same block!
We took our first trip to NYC for our anniversary. The Hilton Garden Inn, Chelsea was great. The staff were all so pleasant and helpful, the hotel was clean and comfortable, business center was very convenient. We would definitely recommend for a very affordable, nice place to stay. And it was on 'flower row'. All the shops on our block were flower wholesalers so it was like getting fresh flowers every morning when we left the hotel....what a treat! Thank you to the hotel staff & manager for making our anniversary such a delight!

Great location and staff

The hotel is mellow and quiet on a pretty quiet street. Staff is friendly and helpfull. Good happy hour at hotel bar. Rooms are big for NYC. Fridge, microwave and Keurig coffee maker in room was great. Subway 1 block away. Enjoyed my stay. I would go back.

Excellent location, very nice hotel.

Pros: Convenience, staff, facilities.
Location: In the heart of Manhattan. We avoided Times Square this trip, but it was a short walk to the theatre district and easy to access downtown shopping.
Our sole purpose was to have a convenient hotel for a one-night stay. This hotel fit the bill perfectly. The price was right, the location was perfect, and the facilities and staff were superb. We didn't pay for a city view, which I might the next time. I would easily recommend this hotel and will gladly return when the prices and timing are right. Parking was about a block away, but the discounted rate was worthwhile. Breakfast was a little pricey, so we decided to try a nearby cafe.

not that good

Posted Mar 25, 2014
Pros: The room is clean.
Cons: no.
Location: Empire State Building
The room is so small. The toothbrush costs $3 each pair. The custom service is not hospitable at all.
