BewarePosted May 19, 2015
A man was murdered in the room directly above my room during my stay. We were woken up by a detetective at 630am to give a statement, hotel staff was trying to act like nothing happened even though there were camera crews everywhere. Google this hotel and add murder for full story. Yikes!

The room wasn't clean to the standards I'm used to at a Hilton property. Actually found a tick in my bed. Thank god the sheets and comforter were white or I would never have seen it. Too expensive for the quality. Had I known I would have stayed a few blocks north for a nicer room at the same price.

There was no water available in my room foPosted May 19, 2015
I was unable to shower, use toilet or use sink for majority of my stay. Unacceptable and still waiting in a refund over a week later. Very dissatisfied.

Location, location, locationPosted May 12, 2015
Pros: The hotel gave us a upgraded room. The location is always great.
Cons: The water stopped working a couple of times but it got restored soon.
Location: This hotel is very close to Time Square, Korean Town, Bryant Park, The Empire State Building and othe major stores. And a subway stop!
This was our second stay at this hotel and fourth stay in Manhattan. We came back to the same hotel because of the convenient location, cleanliness and modern amenities. We were rewarded with a upgrade to a room with city view. A pleasant surprise for sure. The staff is very pleasant and everyone is helpful. Definitely would recommend to anyone visiting NYC.

Amazing location, great staffPosted May 12, 2015
Pros: The staff were always available to help us, and even on the 30th floor we only ever had a short wait for an elevator.
Cons: The hotel is old enough to start showing it at. It would be nice if blankets were provided as an option to comforters.
Location: Shopping (Macy's etc), dining (Liberty), Empire State Building. Herald Square subway station within a few paces of the front door (B,D,F,N,Q,R,V,W).
After our first 2 nights in a room next to the nonstop elevators, we asked Tameika on the front desk for a room change and were given a far quieter room across the hall with an amazing view of the ESB. We found the pillows too squishy and were immediately given firmer pillows. The in-house breakfast was good value with eggs cooked to your order. All over a really pleasant stay. We would certainly stay here again.

Perfect location and price is rightPosted May 12, 2015
The location was perfect, the room was comfortable, clean & safe. We even had the perfect view of the Empire state building. I've stayed here several times already and tried other hotels around the city. By far the best locationsand price.

Middle of Manhattan & Close to TransitPosted May 11, 2015
Pros: Staff and location were the best. If you know what you need and like...and can ask for it with a smile, you are sure to be accommodated.
Cons: Updated room look/feel. Some modern items, but none in the bathroom. No venting for water moisture.
Location: 34th st subway opens all of Manhattan. Empire State Bldg is 2 blks south, Times Square 5-6 minute walk north. Penn Station is 2 short blks west.
For the cost, this was a great option for us. Overall, I was impressed with the staff. All were eager to ensure a nice stay. The room is small and a few details on cleaning were 'overlooked', but all in all for New York, quite nice. Breakfast was good and the fact that you could walk easily from Penn Station to the hotel and the 34th street subway was at your front door allowed for an inexpensive travel experience around NYC. I would go back there again without hesitation. Our room was right beside the elevator, but it didn't bother me a bit noise-wise.

Kiva sijainti.Posted May 8, 2015
Pros: Sijainnista, hiljaisuudesta ja ystävällisyydestä.
Cons: Päivittää huoneiden yleisilmettä.
Location: Empire state building ja ostosmahdollisuudet ihan vieressä. Muutama kortteli times squarelle.
Hotellilla oli hyvä sijainti ja ystävällinen henkilökunta. Huoneet olivat vanhanaikaiset mutta siistit. Hotelli oli hiljainen ja sänky oli mukava.
