“Great hotel for getting to JFK”

Spent one night, we had an early flight the next morning. Checked in about 7:30 PM . Bell hop greeted us out side was very efficient, staff behind desk were friendly and polite. We were checked in and in our room in less than 15 Min. Hotel restaurant was very nice , menu options were ok , portions were great and everything was fresh and prepared nicely. Our waiter was very attentive . Great place to stay for a night if you have to be at JFK early, shuttle was prompt, overall no complaints, will definatly stay again.

“Good Hotel for Overnight Stays”

Only stayed overnight. Hotel was close to the airport. Shuttles seemed to run more often than other hotels. Hotel appeared clean The hotel staff & restaurant staff were very friendly. The buffet breakfast was great. The bed was extremely comfortable! Neighborhood was not so great but we were not going anywhere. I would definitely consider staying there again if I needed to stay overnight in New York.

“Convenient but don't count on the shuttle picking up at the airport”

The hotel and staff were good, my only complaint is the courtesy shuttle. I called the hotel from airport and requested the shuttle. I was told to take the air train to someplace(can't remember name) and the shuttle would pick me up there. This was not convenient as I had 2 large rolling suitcases and 1 rolling carry on bag. I was traveling alone. I should have stated my needs more forcefully but instead I took a cab. I did use the shuttle to return to the airport in the morning and that was door to door service. Later I learned from flight attendants who use the hotel that they are always met at the airport. Now I know to demand service.

“Close To Airport”

This hotel is very close to the airport and thou the flight patern for landing planes was directly over the hotel,I did not hear one plane in my room. Also they have a nitely welcoming and the manager of the hotel calls you to invite you to come and socialize with other hotel guest and enjoy snacks. I ate at the restuarant in the hotel and the service and food was very good. This is a very good hotel if you just have an overnite layover, but if one wants to go into New York City,it is very pricey to do by taxi. One can also go into the city via train or bus,but you would have to go back to federal circle to make those connections. Not sure of the cost to do it that way.

“The best hotel near JFK for the money”

This hotel was wonderful. I can't say enough about the staff who went out of their way to help my family and me find our way to specific sites in Manhattan. They even had their shuttle driver bring us to a store to get a bus Metro pass and, when that store didn't carry them, the driver drove us to another store that did! We were amazed they did that for us. And the Metro pass helped us enormously to hop buses and get to where we wanted to go. (The surrounding neighbourhood is a dive, but it's super-close to JFK). All in all, the hotel was fine: very clean, quiet and with comfortable beds and decent bathroom amenities. The pool was a lot smaller than the hotel's website photos seem to portray it, and the workout room was quite tiny (two treadmills and some free weights). We ordered in dinner from the tiny restaurant downstairs one night, not expecting much (to be honest), but we were blown away by how good the burgers and fries were. The shuttles to and from the airport were great. Most of all, though, the staff were AMAZING. This was a great hotel for the money. I'd recommend it for a quick stay-over from JFK.
