Close to all amenities

Posted Aug 30, 2014
Pros: Location was definitely the main bonus, as well as having a fridge. The room was very spacious with 2 double beds.
Cons: street noise. Our room faced the back (no view at all) and this cut out most of the noise, but there is a bar nearby and this was noisy on 2 nights.
Location: Times Sq only 10 minutes walk in 1 direction. Central part 15 minutes the other way. Lots of theatres nearby too.
Large room for NY with 2 double beds, a fridge, microwave, coffee maker. Across the street was a really friendly diner (great choice and value for breakfast). On the corner was a supermarket and deli, and the subway station (for the ACE line) was on the corner. Staff were friendly, room was clean. Really pleased with this hotel.

Hotel close to theaters

Posted Aug 29, 2014
Pros: Excellent rooms, furnishings, cleanliness, comfort. Location to theater district making it easy to walk to wherever we needed to go.
Cons: Our room had a desk chair but did not have a lounge chair. That would have helped improved comfort.
Location: Times Square, theater district, good restaurants.
Went to NYC for two days to celebrate our 43rd anniversary by enjoying two musicals, good dinner and visited the Tenement museum in the lower Eastside.

Excellent location

Posted Aug 27, 2014
Pros: The hotel was quite comfortable and in a perfect location. And no bedbugs! Great little bar in the restaurant adjoining.
Cons: The room and bathroom just need a little freshening up. The view was a brick wall but we were not there for the view so it did not matter.
Location: Excellent location. Walking distance to Times Square, Grand Central, Central Park, NY Public Library, Fifth Ave....all the sights
First visit to New York and we saw as much as we possibly could in 3 1/2 days. This hotel was so perfectly located that we could return to put our feet up before heading out again.

Pros: Location was close to a lot of city sites.
Cons: Staff should let customers know if there will be construction work/loud noise on the floor and when that work will start.
The stay was fine except for some construction noise on the floor later in the morning. The noise really impeded any sleeping in I had hoped to do.

Good hotel central to Theatres and Times Square

Posted Aug 22, 2014
Pros: Friendly staff Clean and spacious rooms Location
Location: Broadway and associated theatresTimes square Hells Kitchen Restraunt Mile on 9th Ave Must see Lilly's bar literally around the corner
Everything that you would expect rooms were spacious comfortable and clean. We were on 14th out of 15 floors and only real comment was the noise from 8th Avenue below was continuous. Our friends who were on the 7th floor found the noise quite unsettling Nice little touch was the free morning coffee and afternoon fruit water, overall good friendly clean hotel, however if the noise bothers your sleep pattern choose one of their hotels on street and not 8 Ave

Great Room for Time Sq!

Posted Aug 21, 2014
Size was decent for being located close to Time Sq. There were three of us full size adults and room was big enough for us all with two Queen Beds. Bathroom was clean, modern and full of extras. We were a few blocks from Time Sq and Rockefeller Center. All in walking distance. Would come here again.

Nice location, terrible noise pollution

Posted Aug 20, 2014
Pros: The location is great, and the room itself.
We had a reservation for 5 nights recently. We were given a room on the 2nd floor facing the back; terrible noise from the A/C vents located just outside the room. We asked the front desk to give us a room away from the vents. They mentioned that they will try to give us something on floors 5 to 7. The next day (after we had to pack and unpack) we were given a room on the 10th floor, this time with terrible noise from the vents located at that level! (Not sure if from the hotel or from the adjacent building). We went to the reception and they gave us ear plugs as a solution... My family didn't want to move again, as they wouldn't guarantee a better room, so we stayed the remaining nights and used the ear plugs. The gym was also closed (seemingly for repairs, even though we did not notice any activity whatsoever everytime we went by it), and there were no other amenities like pool, sauna, hot tub.
