Location excellent. Rooms very clean and smelled fresh. Quiet hotel considering location. Staff was very friendly. Close to subway and shopping.

I thoroughly enjoyed this experience and have nothing negative to report about the Tudor Hotel. The location was great. Not too far from the action, but far enough away from the bustle and noise of NYC. The room was comfortable, clean and nicely decorated. All staff were friendly and helpful and we feel we got great value for the price.

“Really comfy, clean hotel in a great location”

The hotel is located a few blocks from grand central station and on the same street (E42nd) as the Chrysler building so each day you get to stroll past on your way to the station. The hotel room was really nice and the beds a ridiculously comfy which is really what you need after a long day of walking around. We had no problems with the servcie and check in/out was fast. Good location, Nice hotel, definately worth a visit!

“Will go here again!”

Everything was amazing - the service, the staff, the room, the beds! The only things we were a little disappointed in was the daily cost of the internet, it was unrealistic.

“Wonderful hotel”

Small, historic, recently renovated hotel in great location 42nd Street & 2d Avenue). Room was small, but very comfortable new bed and furniture with totally new bathroom. I was in one of only two rooms on the 11th floor. It was very quiet. I could not believe I had this great place at such a low price through Expedia. Go there!

“Best Value Stay in New York”

Loved the hotel. Nice, small room, which included a bed and a bathroom. Staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. Located near many major attractions and jsut a nice stay.

“Great Location”

After reading some of the reviews I was a bit worried the hotel but there was no need to be. The hotel is in a great location we were able to walk everywhere and for those attractions that weren't in wlking distance we got the subway from Grand Central Station. Our room was on the small side although the time we did spend in the room was very comfortable. Everyething was clean and as we stayed for a week our bed linen was changed regularly. The air conditoning was noisy at night but that is my only complaint. We received breakfast in our room rate which entitlied us to continental breakfast every morning, we were able to choosse from fresh fruit, yoghurts, cerelas, muffins, toast and bagels. It was a great way to start the day and all we needed. I would recommend this hotel and would definitely stay again...hopefully soon!!

“Awesome, quieter hotel in good NYC Midtown Location!”

The hotel was very clean, staff was friendly, and it was in a good NYC neighborhood. We would recommend it to anyone traveling! Fitness facilities were excellent. Room was good size for NYC and very clean. Restaurant staff in particular was very friendly!

“Classic Charm near the UN”

The Manhattan Hilton East was formerly the Tudor Hotel, which is how many cab drivers still know it. We appreciated that only four rooms opened onto a common hall, so there was no outside guest noise. The bed was very comforatable, and the marble bath was a delightful throw back to another era, as was the doorbell to the room. All appliances worked fine. The room was very clean. Service was excellent from all the staff we met. It is just a couple of short blocks to Grand Central Station, where we took advantage of the great food court and the fun shops and the Transit Museum and store.
