“Well located and reasonably priced”
Hilton standards. Well located. Reasonably priced. Could upgrade beds, they are not comfortable.
“Great location”
My mother and I were headed to New York for our first ever shopping trip and we chose the Hilton Manhattan for our lodging. The location of the hotel can't be beat. About 3 blocks from Grand Central Station. The rooms are small but that should be expected when traveling to New York. The first night we checked in we realized our TV didn't work but it wasn't a big deal to us. The following night we called the front desk to report the TV not working and someone from maintenance was sent up right away to try and fix the problem. They couldn't get the TV working so instead we were moved to a bigger room on another floor. The service was great and everyone was so nice. If you need help with anything having to do with New York you can't go wrong with Adam the Concierge at the hotel. Very knowledgeable and provided great service. My mom and I had so much fun we are already talking about a return trip and the Hilton Manhattan with definitely be where we will stay.
“Perfect location for weekend getaway”
Great small hotel out of the hustle and bustle of NYC. Perfect location for a quiet weekend getaway. Hotel room on the small side but for the price you can't complain.
“Not impressed”
Location was convenient to Grand Central Station. Room smelled bad. Coffee pot didn't work. Complained and the replacement didn't work either. Beds were well worn. Never got enough towels (4 people in our room and only got 2-3 towels). Paid 55.00 for a chicken cesar salad, cup of soup, milk, tea and 1 slice cheesecake. If the food had been of good quality it would have been worth it. Chose this hotel because of a 4 rating. I don't think it is a 4.
“excellent manhattan experience”
i read several reviews about the horror of manhattan hotels and how the rooms are notoriously small and expensive. Hilton Manhattan East is truly a winner. The room size is adequate, it is smaller than hotel rooms in california however it is not too cramped as other manhattan hotels. The neighborhood is quiet and conveniently right next to the grand central terminal. This is a great place to stay and they offer very good rates.
“Love this hotel!!”
We loved the location! Can walk to theater and central park! Rooms are small but nicely appointed and clean. Bathroom was great! Staff was friendly and very helpful! We will definitely stay here again.
“Saint Louis Shoppers!”
The room was small but comfortable. The people were very nice as well as helpful. My only issue is the mold in the shower and on the ceiling in the shower. You could also smell the mold. It was just a good thing that neither one of us is allergic to mold. STL - GO cards!
“feels like your own NYC apartment”
We enjoyed the hotel mostly because it gave a flavor of NYC that is less commercial and more like a neighborhood apartment. Our windows looked out onto a residential street.
“Elevator”
The elevator did not work during the weekend and I had to walk 11 floors!!!
“Great, clean room in covenient location”
I would definitely stay here again--great hotel at a great price.
