Good location

Posted Jul 14, 2014
Pros: Location and windows that open.
Cons: Free internet.
Location: Whole Foods is 1 block away. easily walkable to times Square. Penn station is close by.
Windows actually open, a rarity nowadays. Internet is not free. What a shame for a high end franchise.

Not the best

Posted Jul 10, 2014
tThe location was definitely the best part of this hotel. Not that it was terrible but the room we had had a lot of scuffs and marks on the wall, wallpaper peeling, the toilet seat was all scraped up and the furniture was the same. The bed was pretty comfortable and the view was great as well as the rooftop bar. The front desk staff was very nice but the people who took our bags were very rude and upon leaving we realized that a phone charger was missing. I'm not saying that it happened when we left our bags in storage but we just know that we put it in there when we left the room and when we went to get on the train after picking our bags up from the bag storage it was not there and when they open the door to get our bag the bag boys were just sitting in there and didn't even want to get up when the front desk girl was asking them for assistance ...it just seemed shady. overall it was a decent night say for the one night we were there and I would consider staying here again but I may not consider leaving my bags with them after checkout.

Love this hotel but no free internet

Posted Jul 3, 2014
Pros: very clean and comfortable rooms
Cons: Not having free internet service is unacceptable!
This hotel is a pleasure, great location and very clean modern rooms, but I must continue to bash any hotel these days that doesn't provide free wireless internet to anyone staying there.

Good location

Posted Jul 3, 2014
Pros: Quiet at night
Cons: High wifi costs ( per device) in room.Wifi is free in lobby area, so connect in lobby then go back to room and use. ( no cost this way )
Hotel is in good location, close to Flat Iron building, 10 to 15 blocks walk to Times Square. Close to Madison Square park. Subway stops 2 or 3 blocks away. Great little cheap breakfast cafe ( $3.00 omelettes ) around the corner on 7 th Ave, if you don't want to pay higher price in hotel restaurant. Also has a bar on top floor with city views.
