Staff was very friendly, from the valet to front desk to cleaning. I asked for an early check-in, and they said they couldn't promise anything because it's a super busy hotel, but the room was ready 3 hours before check-in! The room was amazing, completely spotless, felt like home, and I had my young daughter with me, so I definitely recommend it for families. And for the price, you can't beat it. Sure, it's not in the heart of Times Square, but it's not far, plus it's practically next to the Empire State Building.

3 day weekend visit

Posted Jul 22, 2014
Pros: The room was new and had a decent view to the street below. Rooftop bar was a bonus.
Location: Close to Broadway, 6th Ave shops and a good Supermarket.
Very happy with this hotel, excellent central location, fantastic rooftop bar and friendly service. They let me check-in early and check-out a little later for no charge. Room was new, modern and clean. I would happily stay here next time.

Nice hotel - great location

Posted Jul 21, 2014
Pros: Size and comfort of the bed, location
Cons: Free wifi throughout hotel, fridge in room or ice machines available
Location: Hotel on 26th - close to Flatiron district, Madison Square Park, less than 10 blocks from shopping on 34th, 230 5th for rooftop drinks, the Highline
We had a good experience at the Hilton in Fashion District - it was good but not outstanding. The lifts were a bit temperamental in that they wouldn't register your key card to be able to select the right floor all the time. Staff we met on reception were courteous and the bell boy was very helpful in getting us a Town car to the airport. Only long mirror was on the front of the bathroom door but no light situated in a way that you could see your outfit. We didn't eat at the hotel but there are loads of options just outside the front door. Location is the best part about this hotel.

Good location

Posted Jul 14, 2014
Pros: Location and windows that open.
Cons: Free internet.
Location: Whole Foods is 1 block away. easily walkable to times Square. Penn station is close by.
Windows actually open, a rarity nowadays. Internet is not free. What a shame for a high end franchise.

Not the best

Posted Jul 10, 2014
tThe location was definitely the best part of this hotel. Not that it was terrible but the room we had had a lot of scuffs and marks on the wall, wallpaper peeling, the toilet seat was all scraped up and the furniture was the same. The bed was pretty comfortable and the view was great as well as the rooftop bar. The front desk staff was very nice but the people who took our bags were very rude and upon leaving we realized that a phone charger was missing. I'm not saying that it happened when we left our bags in storage but we just know that we put it in there when we left the room and when we went to get on the train after picking our bags up from the bag storage it was not there and when they open the door to get our bag the bag boys were just sitting in there and didn't even want to get up when the front desk girl was asking them for assistance ...it just seemed shady. overall it was a decent night say for the one night we were there and I would consider staying here again but I may not consider leaving my bags with them after checkout.

Pros: The staff very helpful and very attentive.
Location: The hotel is very centrally located. to allow you to enjoy restaurants down 14th street or go up to times square and central park.
The hotel is very nice and modern. The sky line bar was great and the view extremely enjoyable.
