Great Chelsea location

I was in NYC for a job interview in the neighborhood and this Hilton was a great value all the way around. Reasonable rate, clean, comfy and safe - what more do you want!!

within walking distance to Penn station, time square. Reasonable, easy eateries close by. Hotel was clean and comfortable. Willing to hold your luggage after check out.

Looks nice - but it's the little things that count

Pros: Room. Location
Cons: The little things to make you feel welcome
Location: 24/7 breakfast diner - MALIBU just around the corner. Try RARE (attached to hotel) and Hill COUNTRY - just down the street - for cheap BBQ meat.
Poorly equipped (and overpriced) mini bar - unless you like vodka, chips and m&m's! Complimentary tea/coffee was poorly stocked. Biscuits would have been nice! Room was cleaned daily - and reception staff couldn't be faulted. Gym is quite small - just one bike, one cross trainer, two running machines and some weights - but is open 24/7 - which is convenient to avoid the rush! Allowed a late check out time (as we checked in late) - which was very much appreciated! Safe in room is convenient, as 'computer room.' **BUT, BEWARE*** they will take a ''HOLDING FEE' of $50 per night *** - Which we were not told about. It curtailed our last minute shopping spree! We used no facilities, but will now have to wait 4+ Working days to get our $200 back! SHAMEFULL ! The rich just get richer - right? ! I would just like to have been told and I might have chosen a different hotel / used a different card... All in all - nice but no cigar...

Paid for queen bed on high floor. Gave me low floor with 2 full size beds. Hotel is over priced and not worth
