“Great Hotel”

The lobby, bar and restaurant, and our sixth floor room were obviously recently renovated. Our window looked out on the front of the hotel to a residential neighborhood with many tall leafy green trees. Bed extremely comfortable with down pillows and duvet. Furniture handsome (think between Crate and Barrel and Ethan Allen. Large console with big flat screen tv. Large desk. Loveseat. Colors subdued brown, beige, gold. Bathroom a winner: gold-brown granite countertop, huge walk-in shower, fluffy towels, nice products. We stayed just one night to break the trip from Venice to Tucson. Would definitely stay there again.

“A great weekend stay; will return”

Our room was awesome and spacious, a regular king room that had a desk and couch, as well as a mini fridge. The pool was nice and the gym was actually very clean and well maintained; they even had a little fridge with cold towels for you to use after your workout. Plenty of parking, which was an additional $18 a night, but had in and out privileges. Restaurant food was ok, not great, but the bartenders were very friendly and good with their pours. The Starbucks in the lobby was only open limited hours but was still very convenient. The bathroom had a huge marble countertop, however the shower was not very well thought out. The shower door was one solid piece of glass that only covered about 60% of the shower, the rest was open to the bathroom, meaning the floor generally got wet. Other than that the hotel was awesome and I'll be staying here again.

“Great Location”

I am not sure why they have only three stars.. I was very impressed with the location... very quiet and relaxing.

“Five Star Service In All Categories”

First of all there are not many decent hotels in the JFK area. I have stayed at 4 in the last 2 yrs and the Hilton JFK is by far the best. I was on my way to Egypt for a short stop over and I found the rate to be reasonable for what the hotel offers in comfort, cleanliness, customer service, restaurant, bar/lounge, shuttle and Wi-Fi. I have nothing but high praise for the staff and management from the shuttle drivers to the bellmen to the front desk clerks.

“Comfortable and convenient to JFK”

The overall experience at this hotel was very good. The hotel is very nice and extremely convenient to JFK. The only downfall was that they are having problems with a new A/C system and while it cools well it is quite loud when it comes on. I was very tired after a transatlantic flight and worried that this might disturb my rest. The staff could not have been more helpful. They tried to find me a room with a quieter unit but it was not better in any that we checked. I remedied the situation by switching the fan from auto to on so the sound would be on constantly which made it better. They assured me they are working on resolving the situation. The bed was so comfortable especially coming from the hard beds in Europe. I also loved the walk-in shower in the bathroom. The food in the restaurant was very good. A somewhat unexpected treat for an airport hotel. I will definitely stay there again if I'm needing accommodations by JFK. Hopefully they will be able to figure out a way to muffle the A/C noise.

“Great hotel, great people, great rooms!”

My sister and I stayed at the hotel for 4 days and 3 nights, Thursday 11/08-11/11. The experience was wonderful, we are thankful to the great staff. First, our flight got delayed from Boston 2 hours, we didn't check-in until 1 am. The staff was great, Hudson was friendly and quick. The next day we met our favorite person Roger, I believe he is a houseman. He was so friendly, funny, and helpful. The gift store attendants were so friendly. The rooms are just beautiful, clean, and big. The pool is amazing. I so would recomend this hotel, and it will be the only place I am going to anytime I go to NY. Thank you Roger, Hudson, and the rest of the staff, you guys are great!

“frontdesk”

The only problem I had with the hotel is when I got a nasty call from the front desk saying to come down because I ordered pizza and didn't answer the phone the first time. I was on my way back from the fitness center. Also the fridge in the room didn't work.

“Great hotel for an early flight from JFK.”

Great hotel for an early flight from JFK. Was able to leave my car at the hotel lot for $18/day, which was cheaper than any other long term parking option. Shuttle service was prompt and very courteous, both coming and going.

“Home away from home and MORE!”

More than what I expected and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Will most likely stay here on any subsequent visits through NYC.
