Ten Minute walk to Lyceum Theater

Posted Jan 31, 2015
Pros: Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Pillows were good.
Cons: We had a drink at the bar on Monday night. Sixteen dollars is way too high for a drink, specialty or not. Mattress could be a little less firm.
Location: Times Square - bright lights, movie theaters, live theater, restaurants, people watching & shopping.
We were there on the Sunday, January 25th, before the Monday blizzard. We went to the Metropolitan for the first part of the day and caught a taxi ride back to the hotel. It was a wonderful snowy ride past Central Park. We found a note in our room explaining that due to the weather, the room wouldn't be attended to on Tuesday. That was fine with us since we knew we'd be there a large part of the day anyway. By midday on Tuesday, sidewalks and streets were passable -- glad we brought our boots! Theaters had been closed on Monday, but thankfully opened Tuesday and we were able to see "Disgraced" at the Lyceum Theater which was a cold, but quick ten minute walk from The Hilton Times Square.

Very Nice experience

Posted Jan 30, 2015
This was a very pleasant surprise. I usually try to stay out of the Times Square area because no matter where I stay, the noise is ridiculous. this was not the case at the Hilton. I booked this room at the last minute. I got an excellent rate and the room was huge in comparison to anything else I would have chosen at twice the cost. The room had 2 queen beds, was clean and the staff was very friendly. I would recommend this hotel.

Great location, incredible bed

Posted Jan 28, 2015
This is the best bed I've ever slept in while staying in a hotel. Down comforter. The view is amazing. The staff were neither rude nor friendly. It was like they were actually shocked when I spoke to them. I had a difficult time getting extra coffee, washcloths, etc. However, they got a microwave in my room as soon as I asked for it. No pool or hot tub. If this is your first time to visit, I highly recommend you stay in the Times Square area. If you can afford it!!

Great location - close to Broadway.

Posted Jan 25, 2015
Pros: The location in particular and all staff were efficient.
Cons: Decor a little conservative and outdated.
Location: The location is fabulous. Close to so many iconic New York places of interest, most within walking distance. Museums, galleries, shopping and Broadway
We arrived before listed check in times and were immediately allocated a room - a huge bonus after excessive travelling time. Both concierges on duty during our stay were particularly helpful with advice on tours, restaurants and Broadway shows.

Hilton Times Square New York

Posted Jan 23, 2015
Pros: The friendliness of all the staff, the cleanliness and how quiet the rooms are even though you are above 42nd Street
Location: The restaurants and bars near the main attractions are not cheap but are worth a visit a short walk and you will find bars the locals use
Wow...Excellent hotel in a great location with doors opening on to 42nd Street and just meters away from Times Square and easy walking distance for Empire State, Top of the Rock - Rockafella Centre and many others. Reception was surprisingly some 4 to 6 floors above ground but a nice experience, staff on reception were great, as I'd paid already they just took a credit card swipe for any services and within 5 minutes we were on our way to the room, couldn't have been better and just what you wanted after the flight, Ensure you visit Battery Park (we walked it and got a taxi back) and get on the FREE Staten Island Ferry to see the Statue of Liberty, just remember when you dock get off and head straight back through the terminal and get back on to enjoy the ride back to see the New York Skyline. World Trade Centre - a very humbling place, the museum was a great but a little over powering, the new One World Trade Centre the tallest building in the western hemisphere unfortunately the observation deck was not open So much to see and so much to do, absolutely loved every minute of the trip

Nice clean hotel in the middle of all the action!

Posted Jan 22, 2015
Our family had a wonderful time staying in NYC! We checked in a little early and they had a room ready. They were able to upgrade us because we are Hilton Honor members. The view was awesome! The rooms were very clean. Bathrooms always smelt fresh and clean each day we came back. Staff was very helpful. Location was PERFECT! Staff recommended great places to eat. Can't wait to come back.
