Great hotel and staff.

It was a really good surprise that the hotel was close to nice restaurants and subway. It also had a good breakfast and friendly staff.

Pros: the a/c
Cons: get new doors
Location: downtown Brooklyn, NY there was a nice restaurant directly across the street
the hotel had very old doors and the carpet in the hallways was nasty, they also ran out of breakfast before breakfast was over

Smelled like a kennel

Entered initial room and it smelled like a kennel, asked for another room and it wasn't quite as bad. Stay away from this hotel.

Convenient Place to Stay in Brooklyn

Posted Jun 21, 2014
Pros: It was nice to have a full breakfast available each morning.
Cons: Requests for more towels from the front desk went ignored. We had 4 in our party and when we had maid service, they would only leave us 2 towels!
Location: 5th Avenue and Grimaldi's pizza near the Brooklyn Bridge. Walk the Brooklyn Bridge!
This hotel is not the five star variety but it serves its purpose as a good crash pad while you're out all day tooling around Brooklyn and Manhattan. Its very close to the subway at 4th Ave and Union, and only a couple blocks from the nice shops and restaurants on 5th avenue in Brooklyn. Its also a short walk to the Barclays arena and more shopping if you need a Target. Its also a short walk to Prospect Park.

Nice hotel in an okay area

Posted Jun 20, 2014
Pros: The best part is the breakfast, room, and subway location.
Cons: Unfortunately, nothing is close by so be prepared and pick up an unlimited metro card so you can go back and forth.
Location: Brooklyn... away from the bridge...not much near by at all.

Nice hotel

Posted Jun 19, 2014
Pros: The room was very clean and bed very comfy. Free breakfast from 6:30 to 10:00 am was great
Cons: The room was a bit narrow for 2 beds and did not have a microwave or refrigerator
Location: Great location. Close to Shopping Center and Barclays
I booked this hotel last minute and was pleased overalll. However, I was a bit disappointed that I could've received a room with a microwave. The hotel rep asked later if I wanted to transfer to one but I had already unpacked and was settled. So when booking, just be sure to ask for a room with a microwave and refrigerator.
