“Not satisfied”

Definitely a bad choice The room was really small with 2 beds, you can barely walk in the room and with two kids, it was not a good experience The included breakfast was good

“Gpod for a 1-night stay”

Perfect for one night close to the airport, when we had an early flight the next morning. Free breakfast that we could take with us to the airport, and free shuttle to the airport every hour. The room was nothing special, but it was nice and comfortable.

“Hotel doesn't know where it is!”

The hotel staff was unable to direct us by car to the hotel from about ten blocks away, causing us to drive in circles for at least half an hour. The area is a complicated maze of highway exits and dead ends, but they should be able to give clear directions to guests! The staff seemed to be totally unfamiliar with the neighborhood, which has some garbage dumps and foul smelling air in it.

“A Very Comfortable option for Transit Passengers”

a very good hotel, with good rooms, i stayed just for one night as i was in transit from NY. the only draw back i felt was the shuttle frequency, instead of every hour they should try to do it every 30 minutes... it will definitely add some comfort to travellers.

“Convenient JFK traveler hotel”

Complimentary shuttle to/from airport, would not recommend for travelers staying more than one night as there is nothing in the area to see/eat. Very good breakfast. The beds and linens were better quality, but the window unit air conditioner looked ancient. We stayed in the lower level near the breakfast room. The biggest issue is that it was very hot when we arrived in July and our room was near the breakfast room and one door away from the trash room. The hallway reeked of garbage at night, Extremely gross. Considering we paid the same price for a hotel room in Paris, not much value for the money. You overpay for the value of the convenience to JFK.

“Did not respond to call from jfk”

JFK airport provides courtesy phone to call airport hotels including holidayinn express jfk. but they did not respond. it turned out that shuttle service was available every hour on the hour but if they let me know of it, i did not have to be worried.

“Just what you expected”

It is after all an HI Express. Late night layover - short taxi ride from JFK. Comfortable bed, clean room, free WiFi, EZ take-out available, hourly shuttles back to JFK. Got all we expected....quiet and everything worked.

Area recommendations

Manhatten - but I wasn't visiting - just in transit.
