A room out of the storm is better than nothing

Pros: They served a very nice breakfast but not much that you are going to eat on a diet to lose weight. Hot biscuits and gravy, sausage, eggs
Cons: Fresh batteries, adjust the cable to remove the snow, caulk the window, fit the sheets higher on the bed
Location: We would never have found the hotel if it wasn't for the taxi driver. We had to go past the hotel and around to get back to the service road.
We arrived back from Hong Kong around midnight. Because the motel's shuttle did not go to the airport and we would have to catch a $5 air train to a station where the shuttle did go we opted to take a taxi to the hotel. Our room was directly connected to the eating area and in the morning the chairs woke me up at 6 a.m. The room was small but clean. The bed looked like the person who made it must have been in the military because the sheets and blankets were tucked in so very tightly. Regretfully they were tucked in so low that the only way you could pull them out around your neck was to snuggle WAY DOWN into the bed. The blanket was too small to honestly cover the whole bed. The desk chair was too low and wouldn't rise up. Nothing in the room seemed to work well. (We think the batteries in the controllers needed to be changed.) The room was very stuffy and warm and after several minutes of fiddling around my husband managed to get the air conditioner to function. The TV was very stubborn but it did work however it was quite snowy. The worst problem with the room was the fact that it was a windy night and that caused the window to want to sing along with the creepy sounding wind. How does one sleep when the window thinks it's a harmonica? On top of that there was a band playing somewhere and although we couldn't hear the music we could notice the resonance of the base.

Room was clean , staff was very helpfull and polite.breakfast was good and the ease of getting shuttle to airport was nice.

Pros: clean quiet room, pleasant staff, free hotel shuttle.
Cons: Be able to tell guests the price the room when booked online thru third parties like expedia.com and price of snacks purchased at the front desk.
Location: Close to JFK airport
Pleasant, clean rooms and staff. I just wish you could have told me the price of my room even though I booked it online through expedia.com, the front desk still should be able to tell me the room price and the cost of the food and snacks I bought at the front desk. This is business 101, the consumer needs to know the price of goods sold.

Cons: they should offer shuttle from the terminal.
our room was very clean and hotel staff were very nice and friendly. The only think we didn't like so much is the fact that there shuttle on the way to the hotel it's not from the terminal, we had to walk outside with our 18 months baby to catch the air train to the pick up point to the hotel, that wasn't such a fun time when it's freezing outside.

Cons: The rooms were clean, but a bit musty. Recommend cleaning the heater/AC units inside and out.
Location: Not a lot nearby, but convenient for the airport.
The young man working there named Bryan was an exceptional professional. He was enthusiastic, helpful, dedicated to helping customers, and energetic. Great greeting upon arrival. I'd hire this young man to work for me anytime. I'd have considered a different hotel, but the people working there made the difference. Great work Bryan and all the staff.

Pros: Staff.
Cons: Break Fast area.
Location: nothing much nearby.
I booked this hotel through expedia. And booked it on the wrong date. As soon as I realized I called hotel directly. The hotel staff was accommodating and they updated the reservation without telling Expedia. My flight got delayed and I was not able to sleep at the hotel but overall the hotel staff is great. The only drawback is the hotel breakfast area which is situated right infront of elevators thus causes a lot of trouble.

Cons: Place was all we needed
Location: Great location with long term parking next door which we needed. Perfect start to our vacation!
The lady who checked us in Tanesha hope I spelled her name correct was FANTASTIC! She made our stay awesome, what a great personality she has .Her handling of customers ahead of me in line showed me a really caring for the customer attitude. Hotel was very good, plenty of fast food delivery and taxi service for those who want to travel. We will definitely come back to this hotel.

Affordable and nice pit stop, very close to JFK

The hotel is designed as a pit stop for people waiting at JFK 12 hours for a flight. Free shuttle service, ok rooms, free internet, free breakfast. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Obviously its not a high end hotel but the value for money is good. Only downside is the distance to public transport if you want to do a quick trip to Manhattan - surrounding area isnt too safe to walk around and a cab drive to next subway (15 drive) will cost you $30 minimum.
