One Night in New York

Pros: Concenience
Cons: Hallways need update
Location: Very accessible to Central Park, Carnegie Hall and transportation
We were attending a performance at Carnegie Hall and rather than travel back to NJ, we booked a room for a very reasonable amount and thoroughly enjoyed the evening.

Pros: Le stationnement juste à côté , le service en général.
Un hotel confortable, bien situé avec un metro tout prés et un stationnement adjacent à l'hôtel ce qui est très apprécié a New York.

That was a really good experience. The room are so spacious and everything clean and nice. The only thing was the terrible wifi, slow and shut down constantly.

Reasonably Priced Hotel...for New York

Pros: Not fancy, but clean and functional would be a good way to describe most of this hotel. Staff friendly and accommodating.
Cons: Lobby bar could probably use an update, and maybe better elevators. Getting an elevator in the morning can be a chore.
Location: Hell's Kitchen very close...lots of restaurants, pubs, and bars. Subway station only a couple of blocks away.
Business traveller stayed 4 nights at hotel. Lots of tourists in the hotel, but that made the stay more interesting for me.

Affordable Hotel Close to everything!

Pros: Closeness to main areas, affordable, friendly and very accommodating employees!
Cons: They needed to turn down the heater but I would say that for everywhere you go inside. (Macy's, M & M Store) They all crank that heat up.
Location: Right by Central Park, 10 minute walk to the Theater District, walking distance to a lot of sites. Subway right there as well. Just a tip!
First time to NYC and wanted an affordable hotel within close distance to the main areas. I thought it may be too far but was very close to everything. Whether you walk or ride the subway, bus or taxi. The owner is very visible as well and very nice. My only reason for putting a 4 is because I am from Texas and it was kind of stuffy in the rooms. We got a fan from the front desk. I like an ac even in the winter. I'm sure they would have fixed this had we asked them to do so. Will stay here again for sure! TIP: Don't be afraid of the Subways and use google maps traveling by public transportation or google maps walking. It worked perfectly!

Grande delusione!

Ho soggiornato in questo hotel con la mia famiglia per 7 notte ai primi di dicembre. Il personale al desk è molto scortese: ho chiesto loro due informazioni e mi hanno risposto infastiditi e senza darmi risposte. L'hotel ha bisogno di pesanti lavori di ammodernamento: moquette vecchissima e ancora la carta da parati in bagno... Ma veniamo a 2 cose che mi hanno veramente fatto arrabbiare: 1. WIFI: sul loro sito la elogiano perché gratis e disponibile in tutto l'hotel. Ebbene, è vero che è gratis ma...non funziona!!!! 2. Ascensori: ce ne sono 3 ma il tempo medio per scendere nella hall era di circa 25/30 minuti...di orologio! File interminabili in attesa di salire! Un giorno, preso dalla disperazione, ho deciso di scendere a piedi ma sorpresa sorpresa: arrivato al piano terra la porta era bloccata! In sintesi, mai più in questo hotel!

Pros: The cleaning staff was friendly.
Cons: They need better service with transportatio since the hotel is far from main attractions.
Location: Close to the Lincoln Center and Columbus Circle.
I stayed 5 nights at the Holiday Inn to visit the city, my daughter and I wanted to see the Nutcracker and the location was convenient . The day of the performance, the weather was awful so we decided to request a cab , we asked the lobby staff and the employee was very rude and indicated that at that time, cabs were "hard to find". we ended up walking to the Lincoln Center with snow.

Great Location

Pros: The convenient location to everything, being able to reserve a town car at for my return to the airport, and joking with other guests and the staff.
I have stayed at this Holiday Inn several times around the Christmas Season for the past 5 years. The hotel is close to and within walking distance of nice restaurants, Columbus Circle, subways, The Warner Center, Central Park South, and the 5th Avenue shops. The staff is very helpful and accommodating. I stayed in the "B" tower and was very pleased with the room. I am always satisfied with my stay at this hotel and plan to stay there each time I visit "The Big Apple."

Only 3 elevators for 1 tower in hotel, one was broken for most of our stay
