Pros: Great location near Central Park..with a pool!
Cons: WiFii only works well in the tower B, we had to be moved the first day because the connection was so bad. They were very nice and moved us immediately
Location: Ideal location near Central Park, the best rate for this area!
We spent 4 nights here for a conference and it was great! Location is the best..with a pool..even though as usual I didn't have time to use it :( Room was very nice and the lounge area was fun for a late night drink with friends..open later than the Marriott on Time Square!!

Perfect Location but...

Posted Aug 23, 2014
Pros: Quietness (We were only to sleeo), location....
Cons: Customer services !
Location: Central Park, Subway
Just perfect location for Central Park, Subway, Broadway ! BUT, I had to call 3 times to get a fridge (last time I went to the front desk it was far to be busy...). I bought Drano as the the bath drain was plugged ! I booked a "Deluxe" bedroom and I still wonder today what was so "Deluxe"... But you get what you are paying for... So for the price, it is a very good deal & location !

Very convenient and the pool is a real bonus!! Only negative is that the gift store seemed to have inconsistent hours.

Great hotel in walking distance of Times Square

Posted Aug 21, 2014
Our stay in New York was fantastic. We had great service from every staff member we talked to. A few staff members even went out of their way to help us store our luggage until our room was ready and arranged a premium shuttle to JFK. The location was great. We were only a short walk from Times Square, Central Park, and the Broadway strip. There are many restaurants and bars only a block away on 8th and 9th. While we didn't use many of the amenities, there was a pool, a nice bar and lounge, cafe, and an onsite store. I would be happy to stay in this hotel again in the future.

Fairly decent hotel - nice neighbourhood

Posted Aug 16, 2014
Pros: Location was good. Close to 5th ave and very close to Central Park and Upper West side. Also, lots of convenience and grocery stores close by.
Cons: Sound proofing and nicer towels.
Location: Roof top pool and fitness facilities were a great bonus.
The room was a good size and the bathroom was ok. Overall, the room was clean and comfortable but the hotel needs a remodel. Also, the rooms need to be sound-proofed. Every time a door closed it sounded like a gun going off - no exaggeration. It was real problem getting to sleep at night.

Good location

Posted Aug 15, 2014
This hotel is in a good location, near Columbus Circle, where we caught the subway. Several subway lines meet there, and it is an express stop for the express lines. The hotel building is dated, but renovations were underway while we stayed. The staff were eager to please and friendly, whether in the hall, at the restaurant or at the bar. The only problem I had was that our bathroom smelled like mildew, probably because the bathroom had not been recently remodeled and the shower tile was cracked in our room. I have a sensitive nose, and it did not bother the rest of my family. As long as we kept the bathroom door closed, it was not a problem for me. The room was spacious for New York standards, meaning that we had plenty of room to spread out our suitcases, and still be able to walk around. The room is nicely decorated.

We loved the location of this hotel. It was very convenient to everything we did. Loved having the pool to relax by for a bit as well. Staff was kind and friendly, room was all we needed it to be. We would go back.

Had a good time

Posted Aug 15, 2014
Cons: The bathroom could use a counter, table or something to put your toiletries and clothes on.
Location: Good location for the $
Nicely located in midtown, not too far from subway, Central Park, lots of local restaurants.
