I left a black wallet at the hotel by accident. It contained a lot of personal information, including a social security card, IDs, credit cards and cash. I called six times in one day to try and relocate the wallet so i could make my cross country flight. Every time i called they placed me on hold, transferred me and would not help whatsoever. I missed my flight completely and had to pay hundreds of dollars to reschedule the flight due to not having any identity. I finally got ahold of someone days later and they simply said they didn't have it. I like to give benefit of the doubt but it was the last place I had my wallet as I used it to check in and pay my deposit. Whoever stole it has attempted to open credit cards, used my credit cards, stolen all my cash and caused a huge amount of stress for me. I like to think this would have been prevented if the staff had just responded in a timely manner. My flight was at 7am. No guests were checking in, they were not cleaning rooms and overall were not busy. They could have helped and prevented this. I now have to involve the Newark police for theft and fraud. Horrible experience
