“Pleasantly surprised!”

Having had disappointing experiences at Holiday Inn Hotels in the past, I was less than enthusiastic about my stay at this hotel. To my most pleasant surprise, the rooms were lovely, modern even, very clean, and highly comfortable. The duvet made the room! The shower pressure in the washroom was splendid. Another bonus. My main reason for booking this hotel was its location, which is absolutely ideal. The price/location ratio is unbeatable. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat!

The room was comfortable, however, the windows had a constant cool breeze coming through them. Windows were not open, and you could hear people talking on the sidewalk and street noise all night.

“Nice and comfy”

The staff was accommodating and gave us an early check in without a problem. The room was small--as most NY hotels are but very clean and comfortable beds. I could hear the subway going by but it was not impeding sleep. The shower head was weak but toiletries made up for it. A few doors down has the best bubble tea I have ever had!

“Great value and location in the center of everything”

Excellent location and a great price for downtown Manhattan! room seems recently remodeled, although a bit small for more than one person (no "real" closet in my room, just a rod with hangers in one of the corners. Enough for me, but definitely not a lot). Canal St. is a zoo, but the hotel is just a few steps to the subway; Very polite staff; free WiFi; I'll be back.

“Nice Hotel”

Our stay at the Holiday Inn Downtown Manhattan was very nice. The staff at the hotel is very nice, the hotel is very clean, and we are looking forward to go back. There is a subway entrance around the corner, you can buy a metrocard there, getting around is very easy, and don't forget to go to Central Station. Little Italy is just a few steps away from the hotel, there are lots of nice restaurants to go for dinner. there is also a bakery store very close by, you have to try their goods, it is an italian bakery, the name is Ferrara.

Clean rooms, comfortable beds, great staff, reasonably priced, excellent location. Great room service breakfast too. This is my new go-to hotel for lower Manhattan.
