Wouldn't recommend

Posted Sep 19, 2014
Pros: Location was good, close to the subway etc
Cons: Rooms were old, very noisy, not spacious
Location: close to little Italy, Chinatown, soho etc
This hotel was very noisy, we didn't get one good nights sleep at all. Asked to change rooms, there was nothing available. Wouldn't stay there again

A little disappointing

Posted Sep 9, 2014
The airconditioner was so loud I had to put a pillow over my head. The bathroom sink was backing up and I reported it to the front desk. At one point i called the front desk from my room phone but no one answered. The restaurant for breakfast was quit good and the waitress (spanish gal) was remarkably able to handle the table service seemingly effortlessly. The room was really small. Overall, It was priced appropriately for the value

Pleasure- great location; clean, would return.

Pros: location
Location: Little Italy, Wall Street, China town all within walking distance
Park your own car in a lot-it's cheaper than valet and around the corner, so easy.

Fantastic location very close to Little Italy and Chinatown. Room and bathroom were clean and beds were comfortable. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend this hotel as a mid priced hotel in a great location .

Expensive Parking, no fridge, no microwaves

Posted Aug 7, 2014
Breakfast not include, but if purchased as packages has to dine-in only, can't even carry up to room if kids are still asleep, expensive parking fee not include in room rate, no fridge and no microwave for kids to store milk or snacks, ice maker on 4th floor broken has to use 6th floor, room very tight and over pricedfor wknd rate, front desk staffs not too friendly and towels and supplies not enough to accommodate for 4 guests per room has to ask for supplies 3x.

Good trip.

Pros: Staff was helpful.
Cons: Since I am not 6 feet, it was hard for me to reach the safety deposit box! It would be better if it was at a different location in the room.
Location: Walking distance to Chinatown, Little Italy and subway station. Lots of restaurants. Restaurant called Landmark opens at 6am for breakfast.
It was good overall. I like to sleep on firm pillows, I found the pillows too soft even with the firm pillow. The shower was good.

They have it right!

Location: Near Chinatown in SoHo--walking distance from some of the best things to do in NY--out of midtown. I prefer this area.
As far as hotels go for us travelers to NYC, this place has it figured out. It was the little things. The decor of my room was nice. With space as a premium, they do well with what they have. The full-size bathroom was wonderful! Plug outlets in the right spot to charge phone. Real glass glasses to enjoy a drink. And a nice size dining area to enjoy a fabulous breakfast with excellent service...

Not a great hotel

Posted Jul 25, 2014
I will start with the 2 positive things about this hotel... The staff was very pleasant and the location was great. Other than that the hotel was horrible. I had to have my room moved 3 times because of AC issues and you could feel the subway that ran under the hotel every time it went by. I was on the 3rd and 4th floor. I will never stay there again!
