Pros: the attempt to be modern
Cons: cleanliness and that scary elevator
Location: nothing to do nearby
the regular price was high but i paid a discounted price and i don' t think it was worth more than that. i would recommend it if it was located somewhere else. terrible area! the employes were nice but i think they could do a better job in cleaning and maintaining the hotel!

Comfortable but

Pros: Clean, quite.
Cons: Clean towels and enough towels for all of the guests.
Location: Located just a couple of block from the subway , which made it easy to get around.
Very comfortable room and decent size for NYC area hotel. It was a good value as well. We paid the extra $30 maybe dollars a night for an extra 100 or so square feet and a slightly larger window. Our room was right next to the elevator, which I usuallydon't like, but it was very quite. We did have a problem with getting clean towles in our room and having the room cleaned at a reasonable hour. Either they were knocking on our door at 8am to clean the room or they hadn't gotten to our room until 4:00.

Has potential but execution is very disappointing

Pros: Near subway station which is one stop away from the Barclay Center.
Cons: Almost everything.
Location: The neighboring streets seemed lifeless and empty. From my time there, there was no where to drink at night and no where for breakfast in the morning.
I stayed here for a concert at the Barclay Center. The hotel is one stop away so very convenient. That's the hotel's one redeeming feature. Would of been a better stay if it was cheaper; it did no where compare with NY hotels with similar prices. My experience from brief stay: Parking: Luckily, I was able to get the last parking spot (there appeared to be less then 5-10 spots total in the whole parking lot). Parking is $23/night. Check-in: The check-in was easy, but I was asked to come downstairs again as they had not saved my credit card details. Staff were friendly but were not very helpful. Room: The room fixtures seem cheap and badly put together. There were past guest hairs on the pillows. Our bathroom tap was wonky, and bathroom supplies are very basic. There was not a full towel set, only two hand towels - my husband went downstairs to front desk to ask for some towels but there was no one at the desk for at least 5 minutes and we didn't have time to wait. I told reception when we were checking out and they apologized blaming the towel supply company (?). The "fancy" sound system didn't work, either. Bar: Bar seems nice and we were given two free drink tickets. Unfortunately though, we were told on separate occasions that the bar closed at 4am. When we came back from our concert around midnight to find the bar closed we were very disappointed as there is nothing else in the close area. Breakfast: Basic and there are about 4 tables for all guests to sit at

Easy walk from the subway! Love the idea of the hotel and the color scheme of it all. Free breakfast was simple but delicious we got to make our own waffles! There were some stains on the walls in the bathroom but it was not a deal breaker.

Fair for the price, but too many things were wrong

Friendly, responsive staff. clean room. Continental breakfast. Paper towels were used as napkins. Water was not hot for first person taking a shower. Turns out the hot/cold faucets are reversed! Could not operate TV. Turns out the plug was loose. Could not call front desk. Turns out I was over thinking how to use the phone. No one told us that the air conditioner controls were on the wall, not on the air conditioner. The owner thinks everyone everywhere likes the loud music that is piped into the lobby and eating area. Not the case with us. Forced one of us to take breakfast back up to the room. It was in a safe, convenient location.

Very nice and comfortable stay. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Only issue was that parking at $22 a day could not be guaranteed that a spot would be availabls. Limited parking spots. Will stay there again

Comfort and Convenience

Pros: The price per night and its location
Cons: Service; we asked for new towels once but it was never delivered to us.
Location: It is quite convenient. Subway station just 3 blocks away, Macdonald about 4 blocks away, Subway right by the corner.
We have never heard of this hotel but decided to give it a shot. We arrived and was please with the condition of the hotel. The room was adequate and clean. For the price we paid for, I feel that the room was excellent. We stayed for 6 nights and we were very happy with our entire stay which includes free breakfast! Though the room was small, it was cozy and comfortable. The staff there were really friendly and helpful. They gave us great directions and information about getting around New York. The best feature about this hotel is its convenience.There is a subway station about 3 blocks away and a Subway restaurant right outside the hotel. The hotel is situated not far from all tourist attractions. The free breakfast included were nothing grand but satisfying. We were quite grateful to have bagels and waffles every morning. I wouldn't mind coming back to Hotel BPM again when I visit New York. I will definitely tell my friends about this too!

Out of the way, but great hotel

Pros: Great bed and shower.
Cons: Needs some repair work (i.e. toilet seat falling off)
Location: Close to Park Slope and Prospect Park
I've stayed here many times when visiting my children and grandchildren in Brooklyn. It's a bit far into Brooklyn, but the R train is close by. The place was renovated perfectly and great at the beginning. It's getting a little worn down (i.e. the toilet seat was coming off) and there are not as many choices for breakfast. (Used to have cut melon, yogurt, bagels and pastries; now only bagels and apples.). Still would go back since it's a good deal for the money.
