Inside is nicePosted May 26, 2015
Pros: Fun, hip details, friendly staff, cleanliness
Cons: Not much, but an earlier check in time would be nice.
Location: I didn't explore the area much. As a tourist I found myself taking the short walk to the R train so I could go somewhere w/ more attractions.
Here for two nights that were comfortable enough. The only downside to this booking was the late 4pm check in and then not having the room ready even at 4pm. Luckily there was a different room available, and, even though it was on the first floor, it was still nice and quiet. The room was small, but clean and the amenities were nice. Breakfast was good and the dining area is nice with a friendly staff member at the ready should you need anything. Overall it was a fine stay.

Great value, great room, not-so-great locationPosted May 21, 2015
Pros: I liked ordering from Asea Fusion (only good food that delivers to Hotel BPM) and the overhead rainfall shower.
Cons: The room isn't cleaned very well, we actually had to sweep the floor each day. Also I've been here twice and they always forget to replace towels.
Location: There's nothing to do nearby, but if you need to order deliver go on GrubHub and find Asea Fusion - great food!
You can't find a better deal; the room prices are incredible and the rooms are really comfortable. I enjoyed the overhead shower, and I really like this hotel (ironically) but it's almost shocking to enjoy this hotel because the location is horrible. It's about a 4 minute walk to the R/N train about 15 minute train ride to Barclay's and about 30 Minute train ride to Manhattan (not bad when you think about it). It's going to be hard to find any good food or entertainment near the Hotel BPM though so you need to modify your expectations. Also, the staff aren't there to help you...I mean they are "sort of" helpful, but don't expect much for the price you are paying. Here's what you can expect - a very comfortable room that's moderately clean, a great shower, good value priced hotel, and close to the subway.

Brooklyn StayPosted May 21, 2015
The absolute best part of the rooms are the rainfall shower heads! I also enjoyed the Bee Kind shower gel and shampoo, it smells delicious. The duvet cover appeared to have several small spots on it that I noticed, and some furniture did have tears or wholes in it that I saw as well.

Decent hotel in an average locationPosted May 21, 2015
Cons: Elevator, breakfast
Location: Read the text above
The hotel is south of Park Slope in Brooklyn, right off 4th ave, with convenient access to the D,N,R trains. On the D train during express hours you're looking at 20 minutes or so to get into lower Manhattan and closer to 30+ to get midtown. Cabs are pretty frequent, both yellow and green. Driving to Manhattan - you should just,.. oh wait - don't drive to/in Manhattan unless you like torturing yourself. The hotel itself has a nice, smallish lobby and modern comfortable rooms. The elevator is painfully slow - and you do get that feeling people have been stuck in there. The hallways could use a face lift. Breakfast is included - it's decent, but not great or expansive. Think coffee, juice, bagels, waffles, yogurt and fruit salad (yes the kind that is mostly melons). The staff is kind and friendly, but leaves one with the impression they don't want to work too hard. One day my room wasn't cleaned, and I noticed the breakfast staff member seemed somewhat annoyed when she had to do too much at once - maybe she'd had an overnight shift first. All in all it's not my first choice in places to stay around NYC, but it's decent and the price is more affordable that many similar places, but less ideal location and skipping a few corners is the reason for that. - Safe bet in a pinch.

Great staffPosted May 20, 2015
Needs some tweaks. Room did not get cleaned and had to go get fresh towels. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Loved the concept of the hotel.

Cheap, easy to get to via subway.Posted May 12, 2015
Pros: Clean bathroom / Nice bed, bed sheets, pillows / Free WiFi / HD TV hooks up to your own Netflix account / Desk and chair was nice / Close to subway.
Cons: Update website with current offerings / Clean rooms daily / Cleaning staff could be more courteous about the times they were cleaning public spaces.
Location: -Nice and close to subway. -Not much to do or eat very near by
BPM was a mediocre hotel experience. The staff was ok, kind, prompt, knowledgeable, but did not go out of their way to do anything special for the guests. The cleaning regime is unclear, as sometimes they refreshed my room, and sometimes they did not (I stayed 4 nights). The bathroom was wonderfully spotless. The rooms are tiny, but I did not mind. The bar is not open. There is no restaurant or room-service. The fridge in my room was cool, not cold. The BPM website needs to be updated as it says these services exist or are coming soon. The free breakfast was ok, nothing special to mention about it. The neighborhood that BPM is in is boring, nothing really special to do, see, or eat in the direct vicinity. It is quiet at night which is lovely! Slightly north, Park Slope (15-20 min walk), has some amazing places to eat, drink, and see.

Good clean modern style hotelPosted May 1, 2015
Pros: Clean and included many things other hotels charge for (ex: wifi).
Cons: Add a fitness room or a few treadmills.
Location: Near 36th street subway stop. There's a McDonalds and a Costco nearby, but not much nightlife.
The hotel is a 'one-off' private one. Not part of a chain. As such, they did a few things that are different, but nice. While there's no fitness room, business center, or other features common in many hotels, this one did have clean fresh linens, a modern bathroom, free wifi, a modest free breakfast, and very helpful and friendly staff. There's not much around the hotel to walk to, this isn't Times Square or anything, but it was very near a major subway stop as 36th street and very accessible. They have a deal with a local cab company, Bell, and can get you discounted flat rates to the airports if you ask. All in all a very solid experience and certainly one I'd recommend to others.

Pros: Street parking was easy.
Location: Subway is very close. Everything you might need is right in the neighborhood. The neighborhood is being gentrified.
Great helpful staff! Nice breakfast . Quiet clean room in a new building.
