Good hotel in a convenient location, in walking distance to lots of sites and shops but quiet enough to be peaceful.

Pros: I love the location, the staff and the size of the hotel. You almost feel as though you are at home.
This is one of my go to hotels when I am in New York, it is close to all the action.

Lovely character boutique hotel off 5th Avenue

Posted Jan 19, 2015
Pros: It was a unique, charming, classy chain-free hotel with a classy Michelin-starred restaurant Juni. The staff were kind and helpful. Amazing beds!
Cons: Perhaps have the tea-making facilities in the room. TV reception faltered at times.
Location: Mid-town Manhattan, off 5th Avenue and shops. 5 mins away from Empire State building.. Not far from Macy's... Perfect!
I went for my birthday and it was a real treat - fabulous New York and a charming hotel!

Poor aircon but great location

Posted Jan 16, 2015
The majority of the rooms in this hotel have old aircons that are attached to the wall, extremely noisy and hard to regulate temperature properly. This meant continuously having to get up throughout the night to turn on and off the aircon to have the room bearable to sleep in. I have never stayed in a hotel which had such loud aircon before. There is a newer section of this hotel which has the aircon in the ceiling/wall which worked like an aircon should. Suggest only staying in these rooms but be aware they don't have any natural light. This hotel is fantastically located near the Empire State Building and Flatiron Building. Close to major shops and nice eating places. Hotel staff are ok. Whilst helpful didn't find service genuine.

Very nice hotel in this area.

Posted Jan 16, 2015
Pros: Small, boutique hotel.
Location: Madison Square Garden, Empire State Building, Time Square
We were attending an event at Madison Square Garden and this is in walking distance. Also close, but not too close, to Time Square. The hotel is very nicely appointed and clean. Staff was really nice and helpful.

Hotel bien situé .

Posted Jan 16, 2015
Pros: Bien situé. Tres prppre.
