Great hotel - close to all the action

Posted Mar 2, 2015
Stayed at the Edison in February 2015. We had a classic room on the 4th floor. The decor was a little dated and the bathroom small but it was very clean and the beds so comfy and we had come to see NY not a hotel room! It was a little noisy from the street but you expect that when you are staying in the centre of the Big Apple. The staff were very nice and helpful, the room was cleaned daily and security was great. We went to the wine and cheese hour which was nice - I would definitely recommend the Edison to anyone wanting a reasonably priced hotel in the centre of NY.

Close to Times Square

Very helpful staff particularly Juan on reception. Beware Queen size is a double bed america. Small rooms with very noisy electric heaters. Barely slept due to these going on and off all night and too cold not to use. Very disappointed that the restaurant and cafe were closed for renovation yet this was not mentioned when booking and was the main reason we chose those this hotel!!!!! The room had no tea/coffee facilities so after 15 hours travelling we couldnt even get a hot drink. On the upside it was a Great location, close to subway, buses and Time square.

Totes Amazeballs

Perfect central location, beautiful lobby Art Deco. Staff are friendly rooms are clean and tidy. Some rooms are a little dated in need of a makeover. House keeping staff Go above their call of duty to keep you happy. The only negative is the cafe Edison diner which has now closed and the lack of complimentary wifi. Wifi is charged out at an extortionate rate.

Great Location, friendly staff!

Posted Mar 1, 2015
Pros: Friendly staff, offered wine and cheese for guests, which was very nice.
Cons: More shelving in the bathroom and more outlets in the room to get ready with.
Location: The location was great, close to everything....we had a great time and great experience in times square.
The hotel overall was great, the Jr. Suite was a bit small, not enough outlets for 4 girls to get ready. No space in the bathroom to place any of your belongings.

Great hotel and great location

Steps from Times Square, Hotel Edison is the place to stay to get you anywhere on the island. The location is perfect for the first time traveler to NYC. Two things that could be improved: better quality sheets (I felt like I was sleeping on sand paper) and hotter water in the bathroom.

Close to Time Squire with Music in The Rum House!

Pros: These great wall paintings of the roaring twenties, I ques.
Cons: I really don't know. The Edison Hotel must have been build by a top architect, in the thirties. That's makes it so nice to live see & feel Time Back.
Location: Booming all around and the Edison Hotel is a good strong Stay.
Good & Nice Priced Hotel, so close to the most important entertainment of New York. All people around are eager to see all these Top Shows of which they heard from and saw some peaces on TV. For me, it's a must for everyone to have done, be one of the many in the streets around this wonderful area.
