“I'll be back”

In the mid-upper range price wise but location, ambiance, staff and cleanliness are tops. Very nice remodeled rooms, excellent bed, and surprisingly quiet for the city. Easy walk to Union Square, subway access and more. I'll be staying here on upcoming visits. You can pay more and get a lot less.

“Super Hotel in a GREAT NYC location”

I just got back from this hotel after a 4 night stay and I must say that the hotel is superbly located (Gramercy Park area). The staff was friendly and I liked the fact that there was complimentary breakfast offered included in our stay. We also were there when the weather was uncomfortably hot. The lobby and the hotel room was always air conditioned and there was always ice water with lemons offered in the lobby which helped cool us down. When the captions on the t.v. wasn't working, I requested help & it was immediately fixed to my satisfaction. I would definitely recommend this hotel. It isn't the cheapest and it isn't the most expensive.. --- it was worth staying there for sure!

“NOTHING LIKE THE HOTEL GIRAFFE EXPERIENCE”

What a WONDERFUL experience we had at Hotel Giraffe!!! We expected something very nice, but our stay was OUTSTANDING. We loved the feel of a smaller hotel; it had a more intimate feeling with the staff, etc. The wine and cheese plus many good things to munch on was a very pleasant surprise - with the lovely piano music in the background. The Continental breakfast was so enjoyable. We relaxed and stayed in the hotel more than we had intended because of the relaxed atmosphere. Loved everything. THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!!!!

“Incredible Hotel, perfect location”

I always stay here when I go to NYC, and I will not stay anywhere else. The breakfast is perfect, the attached restaurant which supplies the room service is amazing. The happy hour with piano player is perfect

“Anniversary trip to NYC”

We visited NYC for our 1st wedding anniversary and were very pleased with the Hotel Giraffe. The room was clean and inviting, and the conceirge was very helpful in assisting us to obtain taxis and navigate the subway system. The turndown service was a nice touch, every everning we came back to dimmed lights, soft music and chocolates. For our anniversary they sent us a complimentary bottle of proseco. During our stay we also often took advantage of the complimentary breakfast, mid-day snacks, and wine and cheese in the evenings. It was a little too chilly for us to hang out in the rooftop garden, but we did check it out, and I could see it being a nice place to unwind once it is warmer outside. My only negative comment is that our shower head was leaking upon arrival, with a washcloth wrapped around it to prevent spraying; however, we alerted the front desk to this on our way out to dinner and it was repaired by the time we returned, so service was approriately quick. Overall a wonderful hotel.
