beautiful, large rooms, fancy amenitiesPosted Jul 29, 2014
Pros: decor, spaciousness, bathroom, club/lounge
Location: tons of restaurants, clubs, lounges
we had a lovely experience with the Hotel on Rivington! we booked the larger "corner king" room and it was truly lovely - spacious (for NYC standards, >300 sq ft), two full walls of windows, and a fantastic high end bathroom. the staff was pleasing enough, we didn't need much since everything was just great to begin with. The hotel also offers tea/coffee available during the day and wine/beer in the evening, all in a nice lounge that overlooks the street. But one of the best parts is that the CO-OP restaurant and Viktor and Spoils club are on the ground floor of hte hotel, making it a great spot for a party night. However once we were upstairs (10th flr) we didn't hear any street noise or club noise.

Nice hotel, great location in LES, BEST views!!Posted Jul 21, 2014
Pros: location, views, service, cleanliness
Cons: nope! love
Location: tons of restaurants/bars in walking distance!
I seriously LOVED this hotel. I have stayed at about 6 different hotels in NYC now and this one was by far the best. It was the perfect amount of space, huge bathroom. The best views, i suggest splurging and getting the corner king. AMAZE! Seriously didn't want to leave. Can't complain. I parked down the block at a garage to save the $70 though, their valet is pricey.

Views, views, views!Posted Jul 3, 2014

For a two day get-a-way to explore the LES, Rivington is in the perfect place and has drop dead views from the upper floors (we lucked out on the 20th and could see 7 bridges in all!) We had a superbly comfortable bed and little sitting area. The staff - everyone - was really smiling and accommodating. The only things that fell down were flaws that felt like someone wasn't watching the boat... drapes off the rail, a broken door knob to the bathroom, and VERY worn surfaces that don't hold up to hotel use (wood varnished closet doors and night table that have nicks filled in all over them, wood paneled walls in the lobby seating area with greasy stains on them, dark brown enamel paint on the hall walls that looked really dingy. The attempt to look edgy felt a bit Victoria's Secret like. I also didn't get the giant faces framed everywhere. All that said, it really didn't matter because the location was great, the view was exceptional and the bed was fantastic. I would definitely go back. Walk the Williamsburg, go to Katzes, check out Dudley's and Katje's, visit the Tenement Museum and Eldridge St. Wonderful places to be!

Nice Boutique HotelPosted Jul 3, 2014
Pros: The hotel staff was great and the club attached was very fun
Location: Tons of cool bars and restaurants around
This was a very cool eccentric hotel that's great for couples but not as much for families. The best part is the club/bar that's attached to the bar... very fun and you get right in if you're a hotel guest. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Lowe East Side hotelPosted Jun 1, 2014
It was not what we expected. It was far away from time square, ect and it was almost impossible to get a cab to take us back to the hotel. It was a 10 min walk to soho which was nice but overall it was not in the area we wanted to stay and i was very small... Good hotel if you are just staying for the night and want to be in the lower east but it was not for us.

Unique and comfortable roomPosted May 31, 2014
Pros: Location. Unique rooms. Knowledgable and attentive bell staff.
Cons: Front desk clerk. I might have caught a clerk in training but it seemed like I should know about the hotel not that they should tell me about it!
Location: Do you like to party? This is a bar filled location! Great food, great bars. Fun.
I only stayed 3 nights and really was just looking for a comfortable place to sleep. But a thought hits your brain as you walk into the room... "now this is something different". From the Temper-Pedic mattress on bed, glass shower facing out to street, closet that went on forever, 2 flat screen LED TV's (with adjustable mounts), seperate lounge area AND a well stocked mini-bar! I wanted to stay longer! I didn't get a chance to explore the hotel much. Elevators were always quick. Decor is fun and interesting. Bellman were awesome. I recommend asking for a skyline view. I faced the other way and the view was less than spectacular, really less. The front desk has some opportunities for improvement. Asked for a wake call that never got. Bags were promised to come up too room but they had to be reminded to call the bellstand a half hour later. Then again I got to check in almost two hours early.
