Trip to NYC

Posted Aug 7, 2014
Hotel was terrible...rooms reeked of cigarette and there was black mold in the bathroom. NYC pass I paid good money for were not accepted at any of the places advertised. I ended up spending even more money for sights.

Nice for a night.

All I needed was a place to stay and that's what I got. Wasn't in the room much at all, but it was fairly quiet and nice and cool (my stay was during the summer). The bed was fairly comfortable and the bathroom was bearable. As said, if you just need a place to crash, this hotel will do the job! The price was not bad, less than I expected for a summer night in Manhattan.

Pros: Central point for everything
Cons: Mattress and at least a coffee maker
Location: Madison square garden, subway just in front of the hotel. Macy's at one corner, Time square a few blocks away etc
Good time in New York but the room and specially the bed were just ok

Pros: Location of hotel (only thing good about this hotel)
Cons: This hotel need to remodel badly. Every thing in this hotel are very very old. It need to fix the AC cover (it actually fall off to the floor)
Location: Empire State building, Macy's department store and just cross street from Penn Station. You could not ask better location than this hotel.
WOW !! I could not believe that there is a such hotel existing in these day. The TV in the room must pick up from flea market. It was so old and the quality of picture from TV was bad. No pen, any note pad, the bed cover was old and the bathroom also was very old. The radiator heating system that was used in early 1900 was in the bathroom and the paint was peeled off and so dirty. I was afraid to touch anything in this room. There are two things good about this hotel : the location ( walking distance to many attractions, stores and interesting points). Except the location, I would not recommend to myself or to anyone to sue this hotel. I felt like, I stayed at the hotel in wild west, gun smoke time. Maybe, because it is in New York.

THE HOTEL FROM HELL

Posted Aug 1, 2014
Pros: N O T H I N G T H E P L A C E I S H O R R I B L E
Cons: Demolish it and redo it all over again go back to the DRAWING BOARD
Location: The location is a gimmick. HOTEL FROM HELL is so filthy is scary. No glamour or nothing. It's like there it is.
To start our experience, first you have to visualize the scene. The brochure they show about HOTEL FROM HELL is a complete FIASCO, starting with the location. As soon as we got to HOTEL FROM HELL everything went wrong. The room we had reservation for was a SUPERIOR DOUBLE ROOM, that was the least they gave us. The room was a rat hole and the single bed was worst. I proceeded to the front desk in which I encounter the most repulsive and obnoxious person, well after a discussion with him, a manager instructed him to change the room. GREAT. After getting the second room it was like , the hell with it I didn't come to NEW YORK to be arguing with some of the most STUPID and IGNORANT people I have encounter in my life (64). My wife and I love to travel and you can bet that HOTEL FROM HELL will be the last thing we'll look for. There is no customer service, no security, no nothing. Attached you'll find some pictures of the SUPERIOR DOUBLE ROOM we got and that's not all the pictures, since there is not enough room for them.

It was great for what we wanted.

Posted Aug 1, 2014
Pros: convenience to everything
Cons: rooms painted and upgraded
Location: Times Square, Madison Square Gardens, theatres, very convenient
It was the second time we stayed there and enjoyed it, right in the middle of town.
