“Great choice !!”

This hotel tries to totally satisfy. There is nothing that they will not do to make a guest happy. The food is,of course, quite pricey but there is a GREAT diner-type place at the end of the street that is excellent !! So safe and wonderful location.

“Good bet overall, great location, helpful staff”

The Sofitel was a perfect choice for our trip! The location is just right for walking to many attractions. The room was spacious and had a GREAT bathroom for a New York City hotel. I have stayed at the Waldorf for much more money and had a much smaller bathroom. The front desk staff was helpful upon our late night check-in. The door man (Boris) was extremely helpful everytime we had questions about directions or transportation. Eat in the DB Bistro Moderne two doors down! Fresh, tasty food and an upscale atmosphere. Try the freshly made pasta!

“First impressions do matter. Doormen welcomed us and off to a great start!”

We go to New York quite often and usually try a different Hotel for each trip. I was very impressed with this Hotel's courteous staff, especially the doormen, and the efficiency of staff. Room was a normal size for this city, with a great, clean, modern bathroom. My wife likes a tub and I like a seperate shower, so it was ideal. Room noise was excellent, very convenient location, and bed was very comfy. I would give this stay a 10 out of 10 rating.

“Best so far ...”

I have stayed in several different hotels around Times Square, and this was the best so far. The room was spacious and modern. The bed was extremely comfortable. The bathroom was modern, sizable, and had both a shower and a bathtub. Everyone was extremely courteous. There was nothing negative with my experience here, and I was pleasantly surprised!
