Location: W. 44th between 5th and 6th Aves. Three blocks to Broadway and Times Square. Fifteen blocks to Central Park.
This hotel has a great staff from the bell hops to the managers. It's location allows you to walk to many destinations.

Couldn't be better..!Posted Sep 25, 2014
Location: Grand Central - 5 mins. Times Sq - 5 mins. Central Park 15 mins. Penn Station/MSG - 15 mins. Anywhere else - use subway stations dotted along 42nd.
Close to Times Sq, and on 5th Ave. Perfect location. Although W44th could get busy, you couldn't hear a thing from room (20th floor). Upgraded to Superior room - nice size for NYC. Bed was extremely comfy. Bathroom facilities were fantastic - great shower. View from window was fine - not much you can expect from a city of high rise buildings. All staff from doormen to check-in were polite and courteous. Made our trip even better.

Nice hotel, good location.Posted Sep 24, 2014
Pros: Facilities and location.
Cons: Staff service
The staff is friendly but inefficient and slow. The location is excellent, the rooms are comfortable. The restaurant is very good but breakfast took us one hour.

Well situated for Times SquarePosted Sep 21, 2014
Had a fabulous stay at the Sofitel New York mainly due to the caring staff. They deal with queries efficiently and courteously. Joy on the front desk made our stay special as did the other staff and the gentleman on concierge is very knowledgable and helpful. Well situated for all of New Yorks main attractions. Can't wait to return.

Loved everything about it!Posted Sep 18, 2014
I was very pleased with my stay at this hotel, my first time in this chain. Price was reasonable considering it's closeness to Time Square, area is quite as well. Staff was very friendly, the food in their restaurant was probably the best meal with had in Manhattan and again at a reasonable price. All the rooms are equiped with prime equipment, TV, Radio, comfy beds, etc.

Would go back!Posted Sep 16, 2014
Location: Great location. Close to Time Square and 5th Ave. Nice noodle restaurant nearby and a descent diner down the street (The Red Flame Diner).
This was our first stay at a Sofitel and our first time in NYC. We were not disappointed. The room was comfortable, clean and modern. It was quiet for the most part and the staff was friendly. We would stay here again.
