We stayed here for one night upon arrival at JFK quite late in the night to catch some sleep before we hit the road to continue with our journey. All we needed was a bed, clean bathroom and a night's sleep. I think we got just that here. The hotel is trying hard to please the guests. The breakfast is ok and we didn't expect a full buffet. There is sufficient parking and with CCTV it feels safe. With the proximity to JFK a short drive away, it is perfect to not break the bank for one night's sleep. Now to the areas for improvement. The property is a little old and the sound proofing between the rooms and hallways is very poor. There was a lot of loud people in the hallway talking ever so loud just outside rooms that guests are sleeping in. I think they should encourage guests to respect the right of other guests to a quiet night and keep conversations in the lobby or just not shout. There was someone playing loud music on their phone along the hallway. Basically it felt like there were some very self centered / selfish guests / staff. Overall, I would stay here again for the one night before or after a flight from JFK which is not something I've said to other airport hotels in the past, so well done but pls try to improve on the areas highlighted. thanks..

Had to wait 50 minutes from the time we called until they picked us up at air port. Hotel is only mile and half from air port. Very easy to get to hotel pick up at air port just take air train it's free.The hotel was clean. Room was very nice, a little more street noise then I would have liked , light breakfast just right .

We do our best to ensure that smokers do not smoke in our nonsmoking rooms or common areas, both of which result in a bad musty smell; and when a situation like this occurs, we try to address it immediately, thoroughly cleaning and disinfecting to restore the clean smell of our accommodations. Guest satisfaction is top priority at our hotel; for that reason, we truly appreciate your feedback about the guest experience at the hotel. The shuttle only runs on the hour to JFK. Avoid room 114, if possible. It is next to the vending machines and at the juncture of two halls and is noisy. The facility is a bit run down, showing its age, but the bed was super comfortable.

It would have helped if the property had advised that the JFK AirTrain station #1 was CLOSED. All of my info said to take it to a particular station - which I could not access due to my need for a wheelchair. I had to take a $30 cab ride, which was ridiculous and what I was unprepared for.

Entire place smelled like marijuana! No elevator from lobby requiring you to carry bags down stairs to get to an elevator. Airport shuttle is from Jamaica station Airtram and it only goes hourly and was 35mins late. I requested late check out and was told that I would have to pay to check out at 2 PM. I agreed to pay a specific amount and when I went to check out they told me they had to have it in cash. I didn’t have the cash so she asked me how much money I had and took what I had. Seems like the employees are pocketing the money.
