Convenient, friendly stop over hotel close to JFK

Posted Jun 23, 2015
Pros: Convenience to JFK and efficiently run.
Cons: A little more variety with the continental breakfast i.e. cornflakes
Location: No time to explore just a one night stop over. lots of leaflets in the foyer with details of the attraction. h
Hotel responded quickly to my emails and calls relating to the booking. Then flight delayed by 5 hours was able to notify the hotel of the delay and they kept the room even though we actually checked into the room at 4am. Rooms clean, comfortable and a good continental breakfast.

Perfect for an overnight layover, but that's it

Posted Jun 18, 2015
Pros: free shuttle, free breakfast
Cons: quality of the breakfast
Location: Sketchy neighborhood. There was a Burger King, 7-11, Chinese restaurant and a couple of chicken joints within walking distance. No fine dining.
Room was adequate and cold air. Bathroom was clean and well supplied. There was some early am noise, but was quiet from 10p - 5a. Breakfast was a joke, but included in the price. Shuttle service was nice and picked up from Federal Circle Station on the AirTrain line from JFK.

Terrible hotel

Posted Jun 10, 2015
Pros: Nothing..
Cons: The staff should check the reservation more carefully, and they need to improve their doors.
Location: There are some other hotels nearby, and also a Burger King next to the hotel. You could take M6 bus to the hotel, it is convenient.
I went to this hotel once last December, it was an acceptable hotel at that time, so I chose this hotel again, but it turned out that I was so wrong. First, the hotel staff charged me again when I checked inThen, the surrounding area is kind of terrible. The paper thin wall gave me a lot of noise during the night.. And there were so many big trucks passing by even at 2:00 am.... The door was also hard to open. I couldn't open it every single time when I left room and went back, I saw other people had that problems too.

Pros: It was relatively clean
Cons: The staff
Hotel staff were rude. They also charged me twice for my room. I had paid initially and they demanded that my girlfriend pay for the same room. Rediculous. At least we got a refund.

This hotel was disgusting.

Shockingly disgusting. Dirty halls, elevator and room floor. The room stunk of stale smoke. The street traffic was noisy all night. Airport shuttle was ok, and breakfast buffet was just ok. Would not recommend.

Too noisy. Facility somewhat run down. Probably will find some other place to stay next time.

Free shuttle.

Posted Mar 10, 2015
Pros: Close to the airport.
Cons: More items on the breakfast menu.
Location: I got there late and flew out the next day. It was snowing so I didn't even get out to see what was around.
The free airport shuttle was a must. Also the price was very good for NY. Also it has a breakfast included.

Way over priced

Furniture was trashed, bedding had cigarette burns, Days Inn hotel down the street was $50 less per night better accommodation.. Definitely a poor value.
