Room cleaners were fair. Was told to call from Ver

Verazono bridge for directions. When i called no one could assist me. Thank goodness for GPS. Handicap parking sucked. Hotel van parked in it and they were reluctant to move. People bringing out bread for breakfast were not wearing gloves. Ebowli. Too expensive for what it was.

Satisfactory pet friendly airport hotel

Posted Aug 17, 2014
Pros: There were amenities in the room such as coffee makers. The driver had to use GPS, but it was close and affordable, and pet friendly.
Cons: For a hotel on a highway in Jamaica Queens, they're doing the best one could expect.
Location: There is nothing to do nearby, and the Burger King didn't seem to have families eating there. If you go to this hotel, you are there for the room.
Located on a highway in Jamaica Queens, this isn't a luxury location, but it is near the airport and pet friendly. I sometimes travel with my cats, and like to take them out of the carriers when there is a layover stop. This hotel and location are good for such a thing. I didn't stay for the breakfast, but it looked as though it was probably the toast and coffee kind. There is no restaurant attached. I went to the Burger King across the street, which was convenient but could be uncomfortable for someone not used to New York City. It's close to the airport so you can use the free hotel hourly van or hire a taxi with the help of the kind staff. If you opt to stay here I recommend you buy some sodas and take out food or snacks before leaving the airport.

Close to JFK, very basic but has all you may need

Posted Aug 15, 2014
Pros: The price and its closeness to JFK
Cons: Shuttle service from JFK can be more frequent; we had to wait for about 45 min until the shuttle arrived
Location: There is 7/11 and Burger King nearby
We stayed overnight just between two flights to/from JFK; did not have time to enjoy a complimentary breakfast. The receptionist was very kind and had printed the boarding passes for us with no charge.

OK for an overnight stay

Posted Aug 5, 2014
Pros: Location
Cons: The breakfast was less than basic and the breakfast room too small for the number it catered for
Location: Reasonably close to the airport. No idea what you could do nearby as I slept and went into Manhattan
I arrived late and left reasonably early. The room and facilities were small and dismal but clean and OK so I was comfortable enough. Also very small

Not very nice

Posted Aug 1, 2014
Pros: The gentleman on duty July 29 at about 1155pm through our departure at 530 am on 30th was exceptionally competent and helpful. And shuttle guy ..great!
Cons: given its location, etc maybe the lobby cannot be changed. But the lack of hot water in the shower is a deal breaker...must be fixed
Location: an awkward 3 miles from JFK; that is, Taxi driver won't like the short route (i just overtipped my guy)
Our intent was to find a place close to JFK for a short overnight between flights. OK, this is close. But the hotel a) has almost no lobby, and the receptionist sits behind bulletproof glass (perhaps all hotels near JFK airport are like this?), b) hotel overall pretty tired looking and c) our room's AC wouldn't turn on....and we wanted to do that to mask the noise in the hallway, d) while the sink's hot water was fine, the shower never got hotter than lukewarm.

Good very affordable JFK last minute booking

Posted Jul 30, 2014
Pros: The staff were amazing-polite, helpful and pleasant. Shuttle service, free wi-fi, simple breakfast-would use again.
Cons: Less overall noise?
Location: JFK airport, fast food outlets.
Usual JFK and delays=cancellation and a last minute overnight booking. Hotel is exactly as advertised-simple, clean and well worth the low price.

The facilities need updating. They made me wait in the lobby for 30 minutes before I was given a room, because expedia paid them the wrong amount even though they charged my card the correct amount...... I was extrememly tired after a 12 hour flight . Overall my stay was ok
