Old

Posted May 27, 2015
The pictures on the listing of the hotel are probably too old and need to be updated. The room we had did not look much like the pictures and definitely needed updating. Overall, the hotel is in a good place in the city with access to everything and is comfortable

Dirty & Small

Posted May 26, 2015
We checked-in to our first room, which was filthy the toilet was literally disgusting and wasn't even flushed. A normal sized person (5ft.and over) cannot sit on the toilet without hitting their knees on the wall. The only good thing about this hotel is probably the lobby and commons area. The management is horrific and unapologetic about ring a disgusting excuse for a hotel. Never again, NOT even if it were FREE!

CUORA EXTRA Y HABITACIONES DIMINUTAS

Posted May 26, 2015
Pros: UBICACION BARES
Cons: ELIMINAR "URBAN FEE" O CONSIDERARLO DESDE LA RESERVACION Y NO QUE TE SORPRENDAN AL LLEGAR. AGRANDAR TAMAÑO DE HABITACIONES O REDUCIR EL PRECIO.
Location: A UNA CUADRA DE CENTRAL PARK EDIFICIO ENFRENTE CON CENTRO COMERCIAL CON TIENDAS DE MAYOR PRESTIGIO
VIVO EN CANCUN Y VIVIMOS DEL TURISMO, POR LO QUE CON CONOCIMIENTO LES PUEDO DECIR LAS DEFICIENCIAS GRAVES: AL HACER EL REGISTRO ME SORPRENDIERON CON UNA CUOTA "URBAN FEE" DE 20 USD OBLIGATORIOS DE LOS CUALES TE DAN CREDITO DE 15 USD PARA CONSUMO EN ALIMENTOS O BEBIDAS. LAS BEBIDAS SUMAMENTE CARAS. LAS HABITACIONES EXAGERADAMENTE PEQUEÑAS. TANTO QUE DOS MALETAS NO HAY DONDE PONERLAS Y TUVIMS QUE UTILIZAR EL BURRO PARA PLANCHAR PARA COLOCARLA EN EL UNICO PASILLOENTRE EL BAÑO Y LA CAMA. LA TARIFA NO ES COMPATIBLE CON EL TAMAÑO DE RECAMARA.

Great central location but TINY room

Posted May 26, 2015
Pros: Friendly staff & great central location
Cons: Room layout, more mirrors to make getting ready easier, more outlets in the bathroom, terrace to stay open later, no reservations in the bar
The only positive things I have to say about the hotel was the great central location & beautiful lobby. The room was tiny & very poorly laid out (it reminded me of a room on a cruise ship). The bathroom was very poorly designed. My mom & I were fighting over the mirror & outlets in the bathroom. The only other mirrors were in the bedroom where the lighting was bad & a TV was hung on one of the bedroom mirrors (which was strange), making it very difficult for 2 women to get ready. They had 5-7 elevators, yet only 1 or 2 seemed to work & took forever! Also, the terrace was a beautiful place to have a drink (they serve Tequila & Tacos) however, they failed to tell us that it closes very early because they're supposedly in a "residential area". We were forced to leave the terrace at 9pm, so we went into the hotel bar & every single open table had a "Reserved" sign on it. Very disappointing!

Nice hotel shame you can't swing a cat in the room

Posted May 26, 2015
Pros: Nice roof bar but drink over priced
Cons: information on room size and information on glass panel between room and bathroom
Location: Not to far from central park and nice little diner on corner very friendly and nice food
i requested a twin and got a double bed and was not advised that you can see through from the bathroom to the bedroom when having a shower or using the toilet. There is four lifts but sometimes it can take up to 15 minutes to get back down to the lobby. The view from my room was a air conditioning unit and a bunch of pigeons and the workmen rubbish left on the roof.

Smallest hotel bathroom ever!

Posted May 26, 2015
Pros: Location
Cons: Bathrooms
Location: The Brooklyn Diner close by on 57th St is great!
While the location of the hotel was great, and the hotel was suitably "trendy", and there were plenty of warnings regarding the size of the room, this was the smallest bathroom ever! If my legs were any longer, I would have had to sit sideways ... And the fittings weren't even "cool" or "trendy"! Disappointing!

High Hopes gone bad

Posted May 25, 2015
Welcomed by aloof staff member. Had to stand in line twice to ask questions from the girl helping the other line. Broken room window. Broken heater. Cold for three nights. Unfortunately, we are not the whining type. Once we finally spoke up, the window was closed and we were warm our last night. Yayy.
