Great site to explore New York City

Very funky hotel from the front desk to bedside lamps in room. Very friendly and helpful staff. Great view from windows & TV. Easy walking to Times Square, theatres, Hell's Kitchen. Even walked to bus station. Loved it.

Nice looking Hotel however...

Posted Aug 27, 2014
Pros: Everything downstairs.
Cons: Can't move the walls of the room so nothing can be improved.
The hotel itself is simply outstanding. The lobby area and other facilities are top notch and no money was spared to make you feel like you selected the perfect place. However, the feeling of space and luxury stops as soon as you get off the elevator and walk the always. The always feels creepy, the rooms are minuscule and, if you are 6 feets or over your knees will probably touch the wall when using the toilet. We had a junior suite and our bathroom was 15 square feet (3 x 5) the tub.

Average hotel, close to Central Park

Posted Aug 26, 2014
Pros: The location was ideal, and the sky terrace was nice to have and chill out on.
Cons: Free WiFi would be ideal, and so would tea/coffee making facilities in the room. The bathroom could do with modernizing.
Location: Central Park was very close by, along with a short walk to Times Square and other attractions.
Would disagree with Expedia's 4 star rating of this hotel. It has a very location, near to Central Park, and within walking distance of Times Square etc. The room, although upgraded to the Superior, was cramped and dark. The bathroom was small, and not particularly well maintained. The WiFi should be free. Overall, due to the location, this hotel is certainly worth staying at, particularly if the price is right.

We stayed on the 15th floor and for 3 nights in a row we heard the loudest noises and basically were just told too bad. Internet should be free

Cool hotel that was too hot

Very cool hotel in a great location with helpful staff and spectacular lobby and patio. But the AC never worked properly in the cramped room and they just did not fix it despite repeated requests.

Hotel was perfectly close to central park

Hotel staff were great for the most part, was a little disappointed that the hotel didn't have 24 hour food & beverage services.

Good enough...

Posted Aug 19, 2014
Pros: Great location close to Central Park and Times Square. Comfortable beds.
Cons: Very noisy -- hallway noise is heard very clearly through doors. Room was not particularly clean when we arrived (improved second day).
Location: Theatre/Broadway shows, Times Square, Central Park, Upper West Side, museums, art galleries, nightlife
Well-situated near Central Park, this hotel should have been totally perfect. It was fine (with minor annoyances), but nothing to write home about. Room -- in particular the floor and the shower -- was not satisfactorily cleaned, and we found what looked suspiciously like toenail clippings in the baseboards. Much improved the second day, but you have to wonder. Internet service was expensive in the rooms, and free WIFI available only in the lobby was patchy. Not ideal for business travellers who need to have reliable, constant access.

Very small rooms, tiny bathroom with zero ventilation...no coffee and tea making facilities. Poor hotel security, anyone can walk in off the street and access the lift to any of the floors.
