“Will go back -- some logistics explanations”
We are Jersey-ites who had tickets to Broadway and stayed one night. The hotel's selling point is that it's on the river. But actually it's *IN* the river, rooms face N&S, not East. So to get the full effect, eat at the hotel restaurant. The N. rooms require some creative furniture re-arranging to get two people a good skyline view. The dinner was pricy, and worth it. Excellent. It doesn't start til 5:30pm, so don't plan anything between dinner and getting on the train, if seeing an 8:00pm show. On our schedule, logistics were important. As with most experiences, when we do it for the 2nd time (which we will), it will be much easier: 1) NJ Turnpike exit 14B says Jersey City, and 14C says Holland Tunnel. So you think, if I don't get off now, I'll end up in NYC. No, proceed past 14B and follow the rest of the directions, or you'll see more of Jersey City than you bargained for. 2) It's $31.05(?) for overnight valet parking, and $15.00 to park two blocks away. We drove right past the garage twice. So ask them where the hell it is first, drop off one person with the luggage, and go park.
