Found the staff to be very caring and approachable. The best information ever for getting around town finding the best eats and shopping.

We'll definitely stay here again!Posted May 28, 2015
Pros: location, cleanliness, quiet
Cons: We could have paid extra for a view, but it wasn't necessary.
Location: Easy access to the subway at Union Square.
My husband and I came to the city for our anniversary and to visit our daughter. The room wasn't large but it had everything we needed. I loved the faux hardwood floors as opposed to carpet. It was clean, contemporary, and comfortable. We had an inside room without much view, but it was very quiet, and the bed was very comfortable. The location couldn't have been better. We'll definitely stay here again.

Short but memorable stayPosted May 27, 2015
My fiancé and I only stayed for one night but we loved this hotel. Very nice sized room, modern design and very clean. Hotel staff was extremely courteous and helpful; would definitely recommend for anyone looking to stay in the Union Square area.

The hotel is gorgeous! The restaurant had great food and service. The bar area is comfy and inviting to sit around and spend time with friends. The location is convenient - close to the subway, stores and restaurants.

Nice hotel, close to Union SquarePosted May 25, 2015
Pros: Clean and comfortable.
Cons: I wish it could have been less expensive. We couldn't afford to stay more than one night.
We were only there one night, but it was clean and comfortable. We were there to attend a graduation from college, so didn't spend too much time in the hotel except to sleep.

Lost a package and our clothes! Needs better staffPosted May 23, 2015
The hotel received a FedEx package on my name (same as reservation) but lost it before I could get it. The next day the cleaning lady took our laundry bag and throw it into trash! After asking the staff, they found the bag but because it was near to trash for a while some clothes came back with stains. They offered free dry cleaning but never apologized and a shirt was stained for good... Good location, nice rooms.

Pleasant stayPosted May 14, 2015
Pros: Location, courteous staff, good food and drink, comfortable bed.
Cons: Most guests would accept and not notice that there are "deep cleaning" issues in my room, 604, around and under bedside tables.
Location: Great location and plenty to do nearby
Easy drive up in our rental car, greeted by staff at curb and escorted through check-in quickly and courteously. Room was efficient and comfortable. Restaurant and Bar run professionally. Will return.

Good location, but nothing special.Posted May 12, 2015
The hotel was fine, but nothing really special about it. We did like the location.

big Brand hotel with a Boutique feelPosted May 11, 2015
Pros: Service, décor, location
Cons: Lighting in the rooms
Location: Almost right in Union Square, it's easy to get anywhere from the Union Square subway stop. Lots of shopping within walking distance.
Hyatts usually look like Hyatts...but Union Square is definitely BOUTIQUE! Renovated with a modern rustic vibe, it definitely does not feel like a chain hotel. Personal front desk service, joking and kibitzing upon arrival, made for a very warm welcome. I asked for extra towels upon re-entering the hotel from a day out and literally got them within 10 minutes of getting back to my room!
