Pros: Terrace on the 16th floor is very nice
The hotel in nice. Location is close to city centre although not the best as not many things in the area. I was disappointed as there were too many additional charges: no breakfast, no internet, etc. For the price we paid these things should have been included.

Great hotel with an am amazing head on view of the New York skyline if you can get a room high enough. The staff are courteous and professional. The vibe is they really like their jobs!

Great location good staff and great rooftop bar

Posted May 11, 2015
Pros: Location room and views.
Location: Near time square and subway 3 blocks away
My wife and I stayed at the end of 2 weeks travelling. I said it was our 25th wedding anniversary and we received a bottle of complimentary champagne. Unfortunately my wife had severe food poisoning and required a GP to come too the hotel. He was more than helpful as was the front desk staff. My wife flew the next day and I enjoyed another day and night in New York. We will have to come back and enjoy that champagne and the rooftop bar together..

Nice hotel and great service!

Posted May 9, 2015
The hotel and staff were great. The only problem was the noise from the people next door who argued the entire night and early morning. The restaurant is also wonderful and the food was delicious. Would highly recommend this hotel to friends and family.

CONVENIENT FOR PIER 88 CRUISE PORT

Posted May 4, 2015
Pros: Nice Rooms/Clean/ Friendly.
Cons: Nothing in the hotel - but the location opposite a noisy nightclub.
Location: OK if planning a cruise staring from Pier 88 - Some nice restaurants and bars nearby.
Everything about this hotel was very good and the only caution I would give is make sure you are not in a room facing 48th Street. There is an extremely noisy nightclub opposite and we were badly disturbed by excessive noise. I know NYC is noisy but in my many years staying in the City this was the worst noise I have ever experienced which is a shame because the hotel itself is great and in every other respect I would recommend it.

Beautiful midtown hotel with rooftop

Posted May 4, 2015
Overall experience was great! Hotel was having an issue with the key cards and took a few hours to resolve but the staff was very attentive and polite. A complimentary bottle of wine was sent to the room due to the wait. Rooftop was beautiful overlooking midtown west Manhattan! Close to Times Square and subway stations.

Beautiful hotel with spectacular rooftop bar

Posted May 4, 2015
Pros: The staff, the appearance, the cleanliness, the wine reception and the rooftop bar.
Cons: Don't upgrade your guests to a different room without first checking how many people will be sleeping in that room, how many beds etc
Location: Good location, away from times square and tourists. Down the road is a 24/7 diner that does free delivery and FANTASTIC breakfast.
We booked this hotel for my bday weeked. The hotel staff were great and the hotel is beautiful. We especially loved the rooftop bar! The staff gave us a free upgrade to a Suite and champagne on arrival because they knew it was bday. The only negative thing I have to say is I booked a double room with 2 BEDS originally because we had 4 people in the room - when they upgraded us to a Suite, although it was very nice gesture, they suite only had ONE BED and a fold out. So I was not very happy about that. But thanks!

Loved this hotel the first time...

Posted Apr 27, 2015
Cons: Sound from the club.
Staff is awesome. Location is great to be able to the walk the pup to the west side park area and all the awesome restaurants of Hell's Kitchen. Our room for this stay was musty and we had to open our windows a couple times to air it out. There are no fans in the bathroom, which could be a reason for the humidity. Then we were placed on the north side on level 5 and the club outside was so loud and cabs outside it and people that we were kept up most of the night both nights. There is no good soundproofing and no noise cancelling technology available except running the room fan constantly, which still didn't work well.

Enjoyed our stay

Posted Apr 27, 2015
Overall enjoyed our stay/ updated decor, large room, friendly staff. The street noise is loud on the 7the floor and the windows need to be cleaned - kind of ruined the city view that we paid extra for. Restaurant was fabulous as was the rooftop lounge.

Nice hotel very close to NCL terminal in Manhattan

Posted Apr 27, 2015
Pros: Clean, modern, spacious, close to Manhattan Cruise Terminal
Ink 48 was perfect for our stay in Manhattan. We spent 2 nights before our NCL Breakaway cruise. The hotel was spacious, clean, and modern. It was a 5 minute walk to the Manhattan Cruise Terminal. It was a 15-20 minute walk to Times Square. When we returned from our cruise our flight was not until 2:30. The hotel staff stored our luggage for a few hours and we enjoyed one last walk around NYC. When we returned to get our luggage the hotel staff helped us into a taxi to the airport. Great trip!
