Bad experience

Firstly,The staff called Irene who wasn't patient when I asked her few questions Secondly, there is no shampoo in this hotel, only has shower gel and the conditioner, I called twice to request some shower gel, finaly no one send it to our room

Pros: The concierge service was superb with suggestions and easy to understand.
Cons: Brighter light in the bathroom.
Location: It was excellent to walk to the theater and to a great restaurant on the strip. Near the attractions. Wonderful place.
The staff gave great directions and were most helpful. Good sized room. The only suggestion would be better lighting in the bathroom over the sink. Small thing but easy to fix. Loved the rain shower and the nice pillows. WELL Done.

Cons: Wifi very expensive only disappointment of our stay $13 a day and weak signal.
Location: best ever location
Most comfy beds in the world, luggage man staff friendly. Explore to hotel hidden ATM, facility to print off boarding passes. Worth every penny up grading to higher room

They charged the brecfast fee in double

Cons: Fundamental service policy.
Breakfast was included in the fee but Intercontinental charged to my credit card for it. I called to the Hotel acconting twice, but they do not take the phone. I left a message two times but NO responce, even though I left my cell phone number and email. I am very upset.

Pros: The location, the peace and quiet in our room, the comfortable bed and the delicious breakfast.
Cons: To have breakfast included in the expedia price would make it better value.
Location: Times Square a two minute walk, hop on, hop off bus stop nearby and it is very close to the Port Authority Bus depot for a bus to and from Newark.
We loved everything about this hotel. From our room on the 19th floor we had a great view looking towards the Hudson River in one direction and uptown from the other window. Apart from the occasional police siren it was very quiet at night and the 6foot bed was comfortable, as were the pillows. Breakfast was not included in our cost but we thought it was good value at $21. The fresh fruit and granola was especially delicious, as was the freshly squeezed orange juice. One evening we ate a meal at the bar as all the local decent restaurants were full and we had theatre tickets. The service was prompt and the meal was good. The staff were all lovely, very friendly and helpful.

Friendly home away from home in Times Square

Pros: Staff, location, the general upkeep of the lobby and public areas, the restaurant Cava. Oh, and Agraria toiletries, spanking fresh bed & bath
Location: Walking distance to Times Square and theaters, a longer but doable walk to Rockefeller Center and Radio City Music Hall.
Booked 3 nights at the Intercontinental Times Square for a private lounge/showroom popup for out-of-town customers. This is the 3rd time we've done it since 2012, and each time we've come away even more convinced that this property is the best for our purposes for a number of reasons: (1) THE STAFF is exceedingly pleasant and helpful in every way. I lost my parking ticket for the lot across the street and the hotel doorman didn't hesitate to walk with me to the parking lot to make sure I got my car with no additional expense or headache. NY gets such a bum rap for folks who are too hurried and short on patience. This property just makes feeling at home in the big city so easy because they make you feel like you're in good hands (special shout out to bellmen Elvis and Johanssen). (2) LOCATION is as great as it's going to be for a midtown Manhattan location. Far enough away from the tourist throngs that can run you right over, but a couple of blocks away from the heart of Times Square. If you are driving, it is a typically unclogged straight shot along 44th Street off the West Side Highway. Across the street from the neatest, most professional (and honest-- we forgot a laptop in the car and came back for it when we realized it an hour later and it was still there) parking garage that obviates the need for $65 hotel valet parking, and the hotel will validate your ticket for a discounted rates ($25 incl tax for overnight). And you're right on top of Shake Shack =)!
