“Impressive NY Park Ave. hotel”

“Nice rooms”

The rooms are large by NYC standards. Had a lot of trouble getting consistent internet connection, Most hotels provide free internet service, but we were charged a daily fee for connection. The restaurants are way too pricey, but there are places nearby where you can get good meals at a decent price.

Theater district and Grand Central Station area.

Dining

Keens Steakhouse is the greatest for a special meal. Lots of history. Very gracious waitstaff. Fraunces Tavern makes a great place to lunch. It is the oldest surviving structure in Manhattan and is where G. Washington said farewell to the officers of the Continental Army.

Family-friendly activities

Take the Beast (speedboat) out to the Statue of Liberty. Kids and adults will love it.

“Sakikawa”

I and wife visited NY first time. I concerned about safty. But it was overanxious. We could return to hotel after Broadway Musical at 11PM.

“Love The Kitano!”

This was my second stay at The Kitano. It is located near where I have my meetings but it is also great because it is close to many tourist attractions such as the Morgan Library and Museum as well as the Empire State Building, etc. The staff was friendly and eager to help. Both times, my room was very comfortable and a nice size. One doesn't have to stand on the bed in order to open the door as is the case in many of the small roomed hotels in NYC. Can't say enough about The Kitano.
