It was a nice place with a good access to JFK.Posted Feb 16, 2014
Staffs were very nice and friendly. Parking may be an issue. You need to be a bit early or shouldn't get back back too late from your hangout before all other guests pulls up.

Not a great hotelPosted Feb 13, 2014
Pros: Close to JFK
Cons: Beds, room conditions.
Location: Close to JFK
Not a great hotel. Conveniently located near JFK Airport, but the conditions of the hotel are not that good. Also, the neighbourhood is not good at all.
I'd pass on this onePosted Feb 12, 2014
Pros: Location to the airport
Cons: Real beds and a room makeover, not to mention the parking situation.
Location: Nothing within walking distance.
My wife and I stayed here one night waiting for our daughter to arrive at JFK. We primarily selected this hotel given that it's pet friendly and is not that far from the airport (plus no parking fee). We didn't expect much given the cost...and that's pretty much what we got. First room hadn't been cleaned from the prior guests. Staff quickly reassigned us to a different room. The parking is free, because there is none! Maybe room for about eight vehicles. Street parking was available, but you need to be off the street by 7 a.m. TV channels were limited. The bed was a foam pad covered in plastic. That worried us some, but it doesn't appear we were harmed in any way. Flight arrival was delayed another day, so we were fortunate to find a room at a nearby Sheraton (also pet friendly). Double the cost, but clean and significantly more comfortable.

Not a good shuttle service.Posted Feb 1, 2014
Make sure to called them to pick u up; if not they will never showed up; an inconvenient for an international travel without a cellphone service. After spending 45min. waiting I borrow a phone and called them. Other hotels have continuous shuttle services.

Ok Hotel- nearish to airport.Posted Jan 22, 2014
Pros: The friendly staff, the cleanliness of the room.
Location: Because of State of Emergency, because of the recent snow storm, I didn't leave the hotel.
The new requirements of the airport means you have to take the air bus to the furthest stop, to even get a hotel shuttle. Then you have to wait outside in the cold for the hotel shuttle. On arrival, the staff were friendly and efficient. Good breakfast. The double room was very small, even for just one person!

Hotel employee left us stranded in freezing cold!Posted Jan 9, 2014
The room was clean. Unfortunately this is the only good thing about our stay. Her flight was delayed, I was separated from my daughter for hours as she landed in the wrong terminal and waited 6 hours for luggage in 24 degree BELOW ZERO cold!!! After nearly 18 hours of shivering cold conditions waiting in the airport terminal with 2 children the last thing I expected was to be left waiting 2 hours for the hotel shuttle in the bitter cold. The front desk clerk by the name of Jen, neglected to take my phone number after I asked her to multiple times to call when the driver got to the airport as he made rounds to other hotels. The driver reported to waiting for us twice in 2 hours as we were unable to be curbside due to the wind and bitter cold as Jen continued to tell me she could not take my number and I was instructed call her every ten minutes to find out how close the driver was. He had come and left as we were less than 20 ft away but out of site to stay safe from the elements. Each time I called I was told I had to continue to wait another 15 minutes as I listened to her laughing as she hung up the phone. as I called more upset each time she just hung up without speaking to me. At which point we took the air train to another terminal and found a taxi that charged me 16$ to drive 1 mile when my room charge included a shuttle. I was however reimbursed the next morning for my room and for my taxi but the hotel manager could hardly bring herself to apologize to me.

Good hotel at NYCPosted Dec 14, 2013
It's close to the airport and they provide an airport shuttle (you have to call them from Federal Circle that is directly connected to the terminals by free AirTrain). There is not much around - in particular no good restaurants as far as we checked. However, they recommend some places from where you can order stuff. The breakfast is decent (incl. waffle maker). We were happy to spent one night from between two international flights...
