Disappointing

Posted Sep 20, 2014
Pros: Nothing
Location: Very bad location
The hotel is very bad location it's on a high way where the traffic noise is continues day and night. At the side there is a gas station and back side is a workshop The rooms are very small The breakfast is a jock If you want to extend your staying they will charge you double.

My family and I had joining rooms as requested. The rooms were clean and everyone was pleasant. The breakfast was good and of course convenient. The parking right behind the hotel was great, although a little crowded at times, but still wonderful not to worry about parking. I will stay there whenever I visit NY. There were no errors with our reservations, we were even helped with which would be the best discount to use for our stay. We felt safe, security was good and we had a GREAT EXPERIENCE.

Parking problem

Posted Aug 31, 2014
Pros: Fairly close to JFK airport
Cons: PARKING - if there is almost none than state not available or offer valet.
Location: close to airport
On line it states "free parking" - while this is technically true, there are only a few parking spaces, after this you have to search for a spot on the street. Given how few spaces there are in the parking lot (less than 10) I feel it was bait and switch. Hotel was reasonably quiet. Room was very small and felt very cheap.

Nice staff

Posted Aug 11, 2014
Pros: Staff, comfortable bed.
Cons: Breakfast, noise level, air conditioning.
Location: Near a great Chinese restaurant. I felt comfortable walking my dog in the area, but some people might not.
I was unhappy with the air conditioner in this room and in the noise level from the hallway. Also, my room key would not work over half the time... and the free breakfast should not end at 9:30 in an airport hotel that serves people from all over the world. However, I got it at the last minute and beggars can't be choosers. The staff was so nice. They made up for the problems.

$200 for this?!?!

Posted Aug 7, 2014
Pros: Nothing.
Cons: The design of the room for one. People like taking their luggage into the room. I had to move the luggage to open the door. Who does that?
Location: No idea. Looked like we were in the hood. I wouldn't have stood outside that place much less gone for a walkabout.
This was not as advertised. I was traveling with my husband and newborn. The elevator was broken, the room so poorly designed I could not bring my luggage past the entry, and there was no crib, as requested. The mattress and sheets were dirty and the bathroom, tho clean, had bare bones products. The breakfast is free but only served after 6:30, which did me no good as I had to leave at 5 am to make the shuttle. Only bright spot? The employee who helped us with our luggage. Super nice guy! The receptionist? Not so much. Will never sleep there again.

Hotel based on cost!!!

Posted Jul 21, 2014
Pros: No charge for pickup at the airport and dropping off the next day for my flight. Free Internet and breakfast were satisfactory. Staff was helpful.
Cons: Price.
Location: There were things to do in New York city and prices seemed reasonable. I did not have the time as I was leaving early the next morning.
I feel that the area in New York where the hotel was located was truly not desirable. As to the cost I believe it was totally overpriced for the size and and location. However not having stayed in a hotel in New York for some time maybe this reasoning is out of line. Room was very small and the lack of available suitable restaurants in the local area were non existant. I ended up going to a chinese take out place which had its menu displayed in the hotel.. I ended up getting an upset stomach and all that comes with that condition. I would not stay in this hotel on my next layover and would probably upgrade to a more expensive one hoping that the amenities would be worth the extra cost. However nothing can be assured.

I was very skeptical about staying in a hotel bcuz I never stayed in one b4 but the hotel staff was inviting and the room were like a home away from home
