close to the airport but also very accommodating

Pros: Its location and its pleasant staff. The room was fine and the food at the bar was surprisingly tasty. I will stay there again.
Location: Come on: New York has everything!
Only a night but a pleasant one. I came in to give a lecture and had no idea how to get to the lecture site but they got me there without a glitch. I had a light meal and it was fine. The room was basic but clean and comfortable. Overall, a fine place, especially if one wants to be near to the airport.

Great getaway

First time visit. Excellent customer service. I called in to say I would be arriving late. Customer service representative was extremely helpful considering the weather. My stay was relaxing. I definitely will recommend LaGuardia plaza hotel to all my friends. Price was reasonable and comfort was priority for me.

Perfect Location

Cons: Free Breakfast would be nice!
Location: Perfect location for flights to/from LGA.
This hotel has location. If you are traveling to/from LGA, you are in a perfect spot. Definitely not the most "upscale" hotel - but fine for 1 or 2 nights. The food at the bar/restaurant was good (but a little expensive - not terrible). They don't offer room service (so you have to go down to pick it up yourself). The shuttle to/from LGA is reliable even at the early morning hours. The majority of the staff was extremely nice. Only 1 individual was a bit "annoying." There is one bad apple in every bunch! Overall, nice hotel. However, I felt it was a bit on the pricy side for what I got. Breakfast is NOT free. It is expensive. Consider going elsewhere for breakfast. They have an Au Bon Pain in LGA right after security.

Comfort and Fitness

It was a wonderful experience at the Plaza. We had a layover and the Plaza was our best bet. It had a wonderful workout center with an indoor plus hot tub. The bar and te food were great. Very happy with our stay.

close to the airport

Pros: -Close to the airport
Cons: -Increase or add more table as needed to bar area -Assist gusts to have seats and table at the bar area as needed.
Overall was OK but the staff members serving in the bar, place that you can have dinner were so rude and unfriendly. Not enough seats, we had to hunt our own table. After a while one of the bar staff came in, gave us the menus and right away said “Are you ready"? I told her give us a few minutes. She left and never came back. No one clean the table. The used glasses of water and a menu saturated in sauce and salad were on the table for long time. Then we had to wait more than 30 minutes, still no one came to take our order, when I approach the same waitress and ask if someone can take our order, she even didn't let me to finish my sentence and start arguing with me that "I came but you were not ready" I told her you had just dropped the menu and you wanted our order" she said there was a menu on the table". At this point I stopped arguing because she wasn't even listening to me at all and she was very rude. Finally after about another 15-20 minutes a different staff took our order. We were very disappointed and my family wanted to leave the hotel and eat somewhere else. The only reason we stayed because it was snowing outside and we were going to leave in the morning anyway.

Hotel is need of a refresh

Needs help. Could be a very nice hotel. First home I was put into smelled and I couldn't stay in it. Got a second room and it was ok, didn't have the same bad smell.

A great host in Queens

Cons: Change the free Shuttle advertising
We had such a good time in the la guardia Plaza Hotel ... the rooms furniture is a little old but that somehow made it even more cozy .... I was missing a locker or safe. Also it says free shuttle to the airport. I arrived at JFK and found out that it was free from LaGuardia Airport. All together we loved the helpful staff and we are very happy to see you guys again next time
