The hotel had no reservation in my name. Expedia has to take responsibity for that error. I had to wait for confirmation meaning i was delayed missing the start of the Yankees baseball game .The air conditioner didnt cool the room the first night and i asked them to look at it and three minutes later they were working on it and fixed it. The hotel was under renovation but it did not affect me on the six flr. The had a airport shuttle and a subway shuttle van, as well as a full time, excellent transportation manager jonathon.they had a great store in house when i needed forgotten advil.Except the no record of my reservation part, 4.6 / 5.

Last minute need - flight delay

Pros: clean, spacious. Free shuttle to LaGuardia leaving every 20 min.
Cons: food availability.
Location: Very close to LaGuardia with frequent, free shuttle.
very nice rooms and pool area. For some reason on this night the restaurant was open but not serving. People were being directed to the bar and told they were serving food, but there was no hostess, no tables available. I sat at the bar because it was 7ish and I was hungry. I sat there for over 25 with even being acknowledged. I left , went to the gift shop and bought a snack and called it good. The hotel desk staff had no solution except to say they were busy. They didn't know why the restaurant was open but not available. Very frustrating.

Pros: Location, Location, Location, Right across from Terminals B C and D.
Cons: The price for the rooms should be lowered by at least 50%. room and dinner for one night topped $ 300.00. I've stayed at the Waldorf for less.
Location: Location is perfect, but did not venture out as I got to the hotel quite late.
Having my flight cancelled and not another one available until the next morning I ended up booking this hotel thru Expedia, I tried several other hotels close to LaGuardia airport but there were no rooms, but this hotel had rooms available so I had to take what I could get, the price of the room was quite expensive but I needed a place to stay, overall the hotel was nice, food at the bar was good, but like any place close to the airport the prices are high

I understand it was a busy night, but waiting for two hours to get my pre-reserved room. Also, there was no hot water and upon informing the staff, they laughed.

Cons: More organization in case of canceled flights, more reliable (and larger) shuttles.
The biggest issue was getting to the room. LGA had canceled many flights and everyone was trying to get to the hotel and check in at once. I waited more than an hour for the shuttle and gave up and took and Uber, then waited for 75 minutes to check in. The managers were very nice and it was unforeseen circumstances, but seemed like something an airport hotel would be more prepared for. All in all, a very nice, large, and clean room, and easy check out in the morning.
