Constant Comfort

Posted Aug 7, 2014
I stay at Le Parker Meridien numerous times each year on business because of its proximity to my business destination and its reliability in comfort and service. I don't have time for inconsistencies and Le Parker Meridien is consistently reliable.

The view is amazing

Posted Aug 5, 2014
The view is amazing but anything else has to upgrade. The room the staff needs better training. Left my Samsung camera watch and couple charger in a room and I contact them and they never get back to me. I am verry dissaponted .

Happy with hotel not with bed

Posted Jul 30, 2014
Pros: the location was perfect. The staff was nice but said they could not accommodate us with bed mistake.
Cons: give maps at check in without having to ask.
Location: next to Central Park, DUNKIN DONUTS, Chipolte, and walking distance if in shape to just about everything
I reserved a room with two twin beds for me and a girlfriend trying to enjoy weekend in New York. They blamed expedia saying they did not tell them.. we had to use a roll away. It was very uncomfortable.

Not worth money

Posted Jul 30, 2014
Pros: Location and pleasant staff
Cons: See aboveL
I was not told at all that I will have to pay $50 per night for an rollover bed for my son . Surprise! And there is no obvious info on the website. One out of 3 elevators didn't work at all and at some point we stock and couldn't get out of another one. The most expensive room service with cold coffee and eggs. For $400 per night my expectations were higher even in that location of NY

Horrible room in a beautiful hotel

Posted Jul 16, 2014
Pros: See above
Cons: See above
Location: Fantastic location near Central Park
I always like to start with the good... The location is great! The lobby is beautiful. The hotel staff was incredibly friendly, particularly the people I met at the front desk and cafe. The elevators had fun old school shows playing. The view from the rooftop pool and sun deck was fantastic. The spa is great. The bad... When I walked in the lobby I thought I was home and this would be where I would stay every time I go back to NYC! Then I got to my room (507). It had hastily patched up spots all over the ceiling, stains on the comforter, worn out walls, a busted looking cabinet that looked like someone stole the minibar out of it, and then I went to take a shower... After a long flight all I wanted was a nice shower. The shower head was broken, held together with some plumbers tape, and sticking out of a hole in the wall. When I turned the water on it sprayed water all over the bathroom getting everything (my clothes, the towels, the toilet seat, etc) soaking wet! The bathroom also has no fan or ventalation in it so drying (or airing) things out or cleaning the mirrors of steam and water was impossible. This room was a nightmare! Definitely not what I expected for what I paid a night to stay there.

Nice hotel in great location.

Posted Jul 2, 2014
Pros: Beautifully decorated, large room
Cons: In-room coffee, movie channels.
Location: Central park is only 3 blocks away. Great shopping on Park Ave. Short walk to Times-Square/theater district
Located near theater district and central park. Large rooms for New York. Staff at registration were very helpful. Bartender/barista had an attitude. I would expect in-room coffee for a hotel this expensive. Nice to have Starbucks across the street, but in-room is nice to start your day. Also expected in-room movies but TV only had basic cable channels. Extensive exercise room. Roof-top pool has great view of Central park but was very crowded with loud children and inattentive parents. Also annoyed that they charged me $8 to print my boarding passes.

Pros: Location
Toilet didn't work without flushing multiple times
